Katy Perry In Michael Kors – 9th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball Performance

Katy Perry In Michael Kors - 9th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball Performance

Katy Perry changed into a different look for her performance onstage during the 9th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The singer wore a Michael Kors Resort 2014 one-shoulder nude tulle dress with shimmering silver leopard-print sequin appliqués styled with complementary Lorraine Schwartz diamond-encrusted earrings and a cuff.

I have a feeling this might not go down so well, but this was a performance piece and the dress is nude, not sheer.

Not sure what’s wrong with me–it’s animal print, shoulder to toe! But I kinda dig the look book version. Don’t care for Katy’s take on the dress though.

I think this dress can best be described by Cher Horowitz- it’s a full-on Monet. This dress benefits from distance because of the illusion it presents. Up close? It’s a big ol’ mess of weird nude fabric.

I’m having a love/hate relationship with the fabric but I totally love the one-shouldered silhouette.

I’m not sure why this look wouldn’t go over well? It’s event appropriate as well as in the holiday spirit. I think she looks absolutely beautiful. I also prefer this gown to the red carpet look 1000 times over.

    It’s just OK for me.

Sparkly and eye-catching – perfect as a performance look, w/o being too much, and Katy looks fantastic in it.

This is a gorgeous performance look, I love it.

I love this! It’s perfect for a performance looks, and perfect for Katy. But I’m not sure I would desscribe this as leopard print. Looks more like an interpretation of giraffe print to me.

I don’t mind this on her. She’s seeming to be veering away from the “costumy” looks she was so fond of for so long. She does not need the gimmicks any more. Are you listening GaGa?

I love it, it’s a departure from her normal style. I think she looks elegant.

      I agree!

This Dress was amazing, I was live at the UNICEF dinner at Wall st. and the last song she performed made me cry, Let’s help children around the world in any little way we can

Katy looks divine IMO. She wears it really well and gets the best from this dress. Just – WOW

More of a giraffe print, no?
