What I Wore To The British Fashion Awards
Last night I attended the 2013 British Fashion Awards held at the London Coliseum.
I had the pleasure of seeing all the guests arrive, with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley providing the jaw-dropping moment of the night.
Even though temperatures were well below freezing, many celebs arrived without a coat, taking time to pose for pictures and chat to the media.
Despite having the shortest dress, Alexa Chung spent the longest time talking to the press, but she did have a coat on standby for those interviews which weren’t being videoed.
The other wow moment of the night came courtesy of Gwyneth Paltrow, who I saw in the press room. This was the first time I had seen her in person and she’s even more beautiful in real life. I was also quite taken aback by how tall she is, as I tend to tower over most celebs.
My favourite person to speak to on the night was Rita Ora. I asked her about her famous red lip, which was a shade from her upcoming collection with Rimmel. She said that she loves to wear a red lip because it makes her feel glamorous, sexy and confident and that now she feels naked without it.
The funniest moment is when I got tongue-tied speaking to Clémence Poésy. She burst into a fit of giggles and couldn’t shake it off for take two of our interview.
On the night, I was inspired by Stacy Keibler’s Michael Kors Monaco look, so I styled my Topshop floral ballskirt with a sleeveless knit top, keeping the look British with Kurt Geiger London shoes in a Bordeaux hue with a matching DVF clutch.
