Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London – SportsBall

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London - SportsBall

As the patron of SportsAid, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the SportsBall, the charity’s annual gala dinner at Victoria Embankment Gardens in London yesterday evening.

Opting for a simple look, the Duchess wore a Temperley London Fall 2012 ‘Templeton’ dress which featured a feminine scalloped hemline, slightly exaggerated shoulders, a plain body and intricate laser-cut design which was inspired by Renaissance stained glass.

Catherine styled her look with black Jimmy Choo ‘Cosmic’ pumps, her sapphire engagement ring and a bright pop of colour via an Alexander McQueen clutch (previous carried to the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant and the University of St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Appeal Dinner).

Wearing her newly dyed wavy hair down (as per), she completed her look with her signature kohl-rimmed eyes and pink lips.

I wish the shoes were different !
It’s a little bit boring, as usual.

I do like Kate a lot and I have no problems with her sticking to her signature looks, but this is just terribly dull. Surely she should have worn a gown?

Maybe she’s just tired with the baby and wasn’t bothered getting super glammed up?!

All of her dressess are pretty and nicely styled but I couldn’t be more bored. She really needs to switch things up

The dress is okay stripped off its edginess with the skirt, the mane’s tamed a little bit, which is good. I actually don’t like the clutch itself too much (is that a bow on it?), but I feel the colour is a step in a more interesting direction. I agree: if only she’d followed it through to the shoes. But oh well, a typical day in the office for her. Doesn’t put a foot wrong, looks perfectly appropriate. She’s not a model, but a representative of a conservative class system.

Sorry, I meant the edginess of the dress in the lookbook comes from the belt.

I don’t like such type of dresses on her at all. I think such beautiful woman with a stunning figure should opt for more sophisticated look … something what wear Nicole Kidman or Kate Beckinsale.

    Boring and dull, as usual.

    She looks OK.

She looked under dressed compared to all the other attendees who were in gowns or black tie appropriate cocktail dresses. This is nice enough but boring as usual. I wish she had worn the belt.

Looks ok, but bland. I’m Dutch so not objective at all. But if you want to follow royalty on this website, why nog Queen Maxima? Age appropiate, often exciting, colourfull, lotts of different designers, shoes and accecories and out of the box!
