Michelle Dockery In Stella McCartney – Winter Whites Gala In Aid Of Centrepoint

Michelle Dockery In Stella McCartney - Winter Whites Gala In Aid Of CentrepointMichelle Dockery joined Taylor Swift at the Winter Whites Gala in Aid of Centrepoint, hosted at Kensington Palace in London, England on Tuesday.

Unlike Taylor and some other starlets, the ‘Downton Abbey’ actress shirked the event’s ‘winter white’ theme and boldly went for its direct opposite: black.

Donning a sleek Stella McCartney Fall 2013 gown, she couldn’t have been more sophisticated in her dodging of the dress code. The second-skin, slim-line design was set off by a racer-back halter neckline and backless detail, along with a waist-cinching belt.

She polished it all off with a minimal smattering of De Beers jewels and a Stella McCartney ‘Beckett’ clutch, along with that impossibly chic bob and the perfect magenta pout.

Did she make the right call in skipping the white?

She looks great. This neckline is perfect on her.
Though, I don’t like the fabric of the dress and I wish the styling was a little bit more interesting !

Isn’t this the gown which has been worn the most in 2012?

I think this fits her like a glove, she looks gorgeous.

Yes, I think this dress has already seen a red carpet, or twenty. But she looks great, none. What’s her little button say?

        It says ‘centre point’.

She has the most flawless skin on her decolletage so I’m a little sad to see her cover it up. This gown is beautiful but rather bland, an interesting belt or clutch might have kicked this up a notch.

I find this so boring, not only the fact, rather than the sense, of déjà-vu, but also the dress itself and on her.

  6. Christine November 27, 2013 at 11:36 #

I kinda like this. She wears it well!

  7. Ash November 27, 2013 at 14:28 #

Boring but I guess it suits the situation.

I like it, it fits her perfectly. and it’s event-appropriate

Very striking on her. It is a classic style, so re-wearing doesn’t seem like such a sin to me. And, this version doesn’t have the cut outs at the waist, so maybe it isn’t really the same dress. I love it. Sophisticated and chic.

    It’s just OK.

    Fitting Perfection!

Ooh! This fits her like a glove. I don’t care how many times this dress has been worn before. She looks just impeccable in it. I’m actually jealous of that perfect bob. Also, I love the sensibility behind her choosing black. With white, black can never be far behind and vice versa. They both go hand in hand.

Although the dress fits her perfectly, I really don’t like this shoulder cut type of dresses. I think they all end up looking like professional swimmers.

She looks even better with the wonderful coat!
