Shu Qi In Valentino – 50th Golden Horse Awards

Shu Qi In Valentino – 50th Golden Horse Awards

Shu Qi wore a second Valentino look during the 50th Golden Horse Awards held at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan on Saturday evening.

Her second look was a long-sleeved red wool gown featuring a contrast collar and yoke, contrast buttoned cuffs, a sheer organza insert at the bust and an inverted pleat at the front.

While she didn’t opt for the runway’s ladylike pearls, she did add a bejewelled brooch to the neckline which, for me, works better than the pearls by enlivening the look.

I prefer Shu Qi’s red-carpet Couture gown as I can’t say I ever loved this gown on the runway. Shu’s presentation of this look is great, but not one I will be considering for my BDOTW.
