Maggie Cheung In Elie Saab Couture – 50th Golden Horse Awards

Maggie Cheung In Elie Saab Couture - 50th Golden Horse Awards

Maggie Cheung looked breath-taking while taking to the red carpet of the 50th Golden Horse Awards held at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan yesterday evening.

She couldn’t have looked more regal in her royal-blue Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture gown.

The lightly embellished belted gown with lace sleeves and a lace yoke, was styled with diamond encrusted jewels and a cute teddy-shaped chain accented bag with an ‘M’ (for Maggie no doubt) motif.

As perfect as this look is, to nitpick I would’ve lost the bracelets as the necklace and earrings were sufficient.

    This is gorgeous.

She looks stunning. Very beautiful and elegant. But like FC said, it would be flawless if she lost the bracelet (and the bag).

I think both the necklace and bracelets are redundant here.
Other than that, she looks really nice.
Although I’m kind of tired of the (beautiful) Elie Saab gowns on the RC…

      Agreed.

There are Elie Saabs that can still take my breath away and, while this is nice, it’s not one of them. Plus she overaccessoried this look making it even more fussy. I’m rather bored by this.

I think that not only the bracelet but also the necklace are unnecessary, considering the neckline. She should have kept only the earrings. I don’t like the bag, either, but I suppose it adds a quirky touch to her look.

This is expected of an Elie Saab gown. While she does look captivating I’m not sure the necklace, bracelets and clutch add anything special to the look. Infact, these make the look rather cluttered.

      I kinda hate to agree.

I would wear this dress every day if I could look like this! It is perfect!

The gown is beautiful in gorgeous blue. I like how her little cute clutch injects some personality. I’d loose the necklace and the bracelets but they don’t ruin the look.

This breathtaking gown didn’t need any jewels IMO. I love the gown, but that’s it.

Does anyone know what’s the brand for her bear-shaped clutch? It’s really cute:)

I love how the royal blue matches her dark hair colour! Fantastic dress as expected from Elie Saab and Maggie Cheung but unfortunately she always overdoes it with the glamorous jewelry.

I would’ve lost the necklace as ot looks weird under the lace.
