Cherry Ngan In Lanvin – 50th Golden Horse Awards

Cherry Ngan In Lanvin - 50th Golden Horse Awards

Cherry Ngan looked supremely elegant while taking to the red carpet of the 50th Golden Horse Awards held at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan yesterday evening.

The actress wore a Lanvin gold-toned one-shoulder gown which boosts simple draping and understated metallic shine which is enhanced further with feminine black bow on the shoulder.

Opting for a simple updo and a glossy pink lip, her minimalist look was styled with a few silver jewels.

You may remember that Tilda Swinton wore this same dress to during the 2013 Deauville American Film Festival.

You can buy Cherry’s Lanvin One-Shoulder Duchess Satin Column Gown from Neiman Marcus.

Wow. Cherry knows how to wear this! I remember seeing the Tilda version and thinking if it had been Cate or Ang it would’ve been a different story, as I always thought it was a maturing look. But even then I don’t think it could beat this youthful version.

This is a lovely look. Elegant, clean and sophisticated and yet speaks volumes. The dress has a lot of character and her simple styling makes it even more pronounced.

I don’t like the dress, it’s shapeless. And to be honest, it looks cheap

I just want to touch the fabric of the dress.
Love the look! Simple and elegant.

While it didn’t work well for Tilda with her strong masculine stance, what a difference it makes when worn with elegance and on a more delicate frame – she looks like a precious shiny statuette – totally charming. I’m not a big fan of the gown but she wears it delightfully.

This gown looks much better on her than it did on Tilda. This is simply gorgeous.

It pisses me off that dresses like these even get made… I mean it literally looks like a sack dress, Im talking like grandma made this out of a flour sack… then only difference is its gold.
