Menswear Red Carpet Weekend Roundup

Menswear round up

From London to Los Angeles, here’s a look at the men who made an impression over the weekend.

Dan Stevens: The British actor stepped out at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday night, wearing a dashing black Burberry tux and bow tie. It doesn’t get much more dashing than that.

Andrew Garfield: The actor attended the ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ photocall at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver Studios on Saturday alongside Emma Stone. Like his lovely costar, he also showed Band of Outsiders some love, wearing one of the label’s khaki-coloured jackets. He paired his casual outerwear choice with a blue-and-red plaid shirt, dark denim, and black loafers.

Brad Pitt: The actor wore a black tux and matching bow tie by Saint Laurent, joining his wife-to-be Angelina Jolie and their son Maddox on the red carpet at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards on Saturday evening.

Jake Gyllenhaal: Jake was also on-hand at Saturday’s Governors Awards, wearing a fitted one-button black blazer with velvet lapels, black bow tie, and slim black trousers.

Jared Leto: Sticking to his rocker-style M.O. somewhat, Jared styled an oversized, double-breasted burgundy blazer and black tie with skinny black jeans, black Zadig & Voltaire ‘Joe’ boots folded down, and signature ombré locks for the Governors Awards, held in Los Angeles, California on Saturday. While, by his standards, this is a much more cleaned-up look, the rest of the suits to hit the Governors Awards red carpet were certainly on a different level of formality.

Matthew McConaughey: The ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ actor, who finally looks like he’s gaining back some of the weight he lost for the role, wore a slick Dolce & Gabbana suit to the Governors Awards on Saturday, letting his skinny black satin tie and sliver of a white pocket square provide an extra layer of detail.

Robert Pattinson: The now-bearded actor attended the 6th annual GO GO Gala at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, wearing a navy blue Gucci Resort 2014 linen-notch lapel, two-button Signoria suit with a grey dress shirt and black leather lace-ups.

Michael B. Jordan: As per usual — and this time at the Governors Awards in Los Angeles — the actor looked handsome in a satin-lapel Dior suit, skinny black tie, and patent black lace-ups.

Tom Hiddleston: The actor joined Dan Stevens at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards last night. Like Dan went Tom also went dashing gent look, wearing a black tuxedo with a satin shawl collar and satin trim down his trousers. The ‘Thor’ star wor his hair swept back into an elegant quiff which I’m sure will get you ladies swooning.
