Adele Exarchopoulos joined her co-star and BFF Lea Seydoux, on the red carpet for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center in LA yesterday evening.
Playing ebony to Lea’s ivory, the French actress wore a Dior black frock with a plunging neckline and rise-and-fall hemline.
Perhaps some are missing statement accessories, a long pendent necklace or a clutch, but I kinda like that she kept the look basic. She didn’t even apply nail polish to amp up the look.
Dior two-tone pumps, a part-braided just-got-out-of-bed ‘do and smokey eyes completed her look.

Ugh! She always looks like a partially strung out, high end call girl. Why can she never look pulled together?
Looks like she us trying to be sexy, but really just looks like she is falling asleep (a bit like I am looking at this frock).
Booooooring.
Blow out the dress cupboards and klick out the
jams for angelicadele
I think whatever AngelicAdeles taste is exemplary
in whatever a designer throws her way.I wait@Chanel
Versace,Gianinni and all the houses to stuff her

a brilliant superstar?!
cOUTURE ON ANYTHING LESS
I’m always trying to remain positive but this look (Especially her expression) makes me wanna jump out of the window and just run.
I kinda like it.
She is the skinny version of Kourtney Kardashian. Anyway, boring look and the shoes are ugly.
I don’t mind it andI actually like CD’s take on it as “unpolished Dior.” I’m getting a bit bored by her though. Her style feels a bit one-dimensional to me. Léa’s is more interesting.
This look doesn’t really strike me as effortless.
It strikes me as the end result of someone who has put a lot of effort into trying to appear too sophisticated to care. 😉
I find it refreshing to see like a messed up approach to Dior, rather than the American attempts to make it always look so perfect
I agree.
I think she looks great even if I don’t like the shoes.
I’m not too excited about this. I like the dress but the styling lets it down. She could have made more of an effort.
boring… and hair and makeup are awful.
I like the clean simplicity when it comes to styling – quiet elegance works for me, but I can’t overlook the careless hair that undermines it, too bad because the rest is simple and lovely.
…I’m not missing any major statement accessories but at least a ring or a clutch wouldn’t have hurt. I have to admit, her presentation is a bit too lackluster.
I don’t miss statement accessories either (I like the simplicity of the look) but I don’t like the hair and the shoes.
Although I like the dress she needed to put some more effort in the styling (she looks like she woke up wearing the previous-night outfit)
I wish she’d close her mouth or at the very least attempt a smile !
hahahaha I agree. Her expression is rather annoying.
I agree, I like the look, nothing particularly interesting but her expression is bothering.
It works for her.
I can’t get excited about this look, it looks boring to me.
+1 Agreed.
