Naomie Harris In Valentino - 'Mandela Long Walk To Freedom' New York Premiere

In terms of promo tours, Naomie Harris’ for ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’ has been flawless. The British beauty has not skipped a beat.

Last night she attended the New York premiere held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center wearing a Valentino Spring 2014 gown.

Her long-sleeved sheer tulle floor-length gown featuring a high neck, A-line waist, pleating at the front and back, and colourful embroidery throughout was styled with Christian Louboutin blue python pumps and a black Jimmy Choo clutch.

With parts of her hair pulled back and the rest left wavy, she completed her look with a nude lip colour and diamond Kwiat earrings.

Do you like the tribal-esque look?

It’s a little to busy, maybe.

But it’s not that I don’t like it.

I just keep picturing her in that perfection from Donna Karan last week.

nope, not working it makes her legs look endless but her torso look awfully short. the sheer part is also unnecessary

I love this. She pulled it off absolutely flawlessly from her perfect hair and make-up down to those stunning blue shoes. BDOTW nominee for me.

I love this. It is unusual and beautiful. Usually for tribal prints like this the vibe is so aggressive and fierce, but she manages to make it look so elegant. She’s becoming so incredible.

I’m surprised but I like it. And this is one of the rare cases where I would have preferred simple black pumps or sandals.

    • Iva November 15, 2013 at 11:09 #

      My thoughts exactly.
I consider these blue pumps little ‘too much’ for this colorful look.

  16. DM November 15, 2013 at 10:32 #

I kinda like this. It’s something a little different from the usual fare. Her hair and face are very pretty.

I didn’t like that valentino collection on the runway (as much as I tried too) but I actually don’t mind this on Naomie. She looks good, it’s not an easy dress to pull off but she looks so comfortable and confident in it. Thumbs up from me!

    • Pablo November 15, 2013 at 10:56 #

+1 I wasn’t too fond of this collection but she looks great! Turning the dress into a gown and those blue pumps made it for me!

The skirt is just so okay, especially with the shoes, but the top is strange. No for me.

  19. Charlotte November 15, 2013 at 09:50 #

I don’t like this look, it looks like a costume.
