Vogue NO.100 Night In Beijing

Vogue NO 100 Night In Beijing

The glamour was on full display at Tuesday’s Vogue NO. 100 Night in Beijing. Here’s a look at who wore what for the evening’s festivities.

Shu Qi: The actress wore an embellished Hugo Boss Fall 2013 gown with its statement hardware belt, styling it with a slicked-back bun and minimalist drop earrings. While this dress was previously worn by Jourdan Dunn, it could almost be mistaken as two very different looks, don’t you think?

Du Juan: The model-actress stepped out in a floor-length, sleeveless Valentino Resort 2014 dress that featured all-over floral embroidery. Her pin-straight locks and red lip completed the look.

Liu Zi: Clad in a wine-red Emporio Armani Fall 2013 number, Liu Zi showed off the dress’s one sleeve on, one sleeve off detail, along with its almost cumbersome voluminous shape. She paired the look with a black-and-gold clutch and a gold collar statement necklace.

Qin Shupei: The lanky model chose a strapless LWD with floral-embroidered waist detail from the Christian Dior Fall 2013 collection, which she complemented with a red lip, white pumps, and a simple double-strand silver necklace.

Li Feier: By choosing a floor-skimming white lace Dolce & Gabbana number, Li looked mermaid-like and ethereal. She accessorized with a white clutch, gold cuff, and a skinny tiara.

Emma Pei: The model evoked quite the 1920s flapper vibe in her Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 look, consisting of a silver-sequin, black-button vest top layered over a black velvet dress. A gold-plated black clutch, black sandals, and barely-there makeup were her final touches.

Haden Kuo: The actress wore a sleeveless, floor-length, gold Andrew Gn Fall 2013 dress with black lace overlay, pairing it with her long wavy locks to finish.

Ge Huijie: The model selected one of the dramatic mesh-and-feathered dresses from the Gucci Fall 2013 lineup. The eye-catching points didn’t stop there, though. She styled her dress with sheer black tights, holographic sandals, a grey clutch, hoop earrings, and a matte red lip.

The first four looks are flawless.

I love how the first 4 looks quite whimsical together.

I like the dresses in the upper row, but, maybe because I’m not familiar with any of these ladies, they all seem to lack charisma to pull them off.

^^^^^ I agree with the first comments! Such a well dressed event! Dreamy looks!!!
Although I love Emma Pei’s dress too(almost everything from this collection actually) I think the styling is bad :(

I like the first 3 and then the fifth look. I love the third look except I would like it better if the sleeves were symmetrical o sleeveless. That colour and fabric is so sumptuous – I wish I had a garment in that color and fabric!!!!!

Shu Qi and Li Feier are my standouts. I want to like the Gucci, but it reminds me of a molting bird.

I’m loving Emma, Shupei and Du Juan’s looks!

The top row is nice. If I had to pick one that would be sexy, dazzling and daring Shu Qi.
Du Juan and Qin Shupei are a bit too springy/summery. The wine-red on Liu Zi is gorgeous but the one-sleeve is odd and the skirt shape is very stumpifying. Li Feier would’ve been lovely w/o the sugary tiara and hairstyle.
The last 3 – not very good.

      Totally agree.
Li Feier looks too bridal for my taste. That type of dress needs a modern styling otherwise the result will always be a bride wannabe walking down the red carpet.

I love the first row with Qin Shupei being my favourite.
