Jennifer Lawrence In Proenza Schouler – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Rome Film Festival Photocall

Jennifer Lawrence In Proenza Schouler - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' Rome Film Festival Photocall

Jennifer Lawrence attended ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ photocall during the 8th Rome Film Festival held at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Italy this afternoon.

Continuing her more youthful approach to photocall dressing, she selected yet another off-runway look, wearing a Proenza Schouler Spring 2014 dress, distinctive via the decorative turnlock silver hardware at the placket.

The black-and-tan cotton-crepe dress was styled with Saint Laurent platform pumps with a studded toe-cap and yet another pair of statement earrings courtesy of Graziela Gems and an EF Collection bangle.

Luscious lashes and a glossy pink lip completed her look.

You can buy Jennifer’s Saint Laurent ‘Janis’ Pumps from Barneys.com and Harrods.

I know this will receive more likes than her Dior because it has a younger vibe but I really do not like this look at all. The colour, the silly embellishments that look like razor blades, the baby poo coloured stripe up the front and the unflattering bust .

      I agree with you, LeeAnn.

I’m not wowed, but, while I can see where LeeAnn is coming from to some extent, I don’t mind it. It’s more playful then many of the yawnfests we tend to get from her on occasion. The shoes could have been a tad more interesting.

Although I like the colours on her, and her earrings as far as I can see, I am not a fan of the dress.

    The dress is ok

I don’t know – this dress makes her look matronly ( I think its for a small breast or flat chested person) – and the earrings dont go.Somehow she reminds me of HElen Mirren in this.

I feel she’s taking doing better at being young at all the photo calls for the movie rather than the premiere. Well, I still haven’t seen her Madrid premiere look but this look I like. I won’t be too critical because at this point I feel like I’ve just given up and so has she.

I actually kind of like this look. I think of her as a bit of a tomboy so she looks more “at home” in streamlined looks like this (and that last McQueen).
The earrings are a bit strange, though.

This look is okay, but I still feel like they’re trying to figure out what exactly to do with her short hair….

I think it’s a great photocall look for her, sharp, youthful. The dress fits her perfectly.

I agree! I like that they are branching out for the photocalls.

Cool and fun! I like this girl. She does her own thing and doesn’t care,

She (or her stylist) just isn’t getting it. They need to stop pushing her to be a fashion girl, end the dire Dior partnership, and just let her be a 23 year old. I’m 23, and I would never wear anything she’s worn this promo tour.
