Jennifer Lawrence In Alexander McQueen – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Madrid Photocall

Jennifer Lawrence In Alexander McQueen - 'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' Madrid Photocall

Jennifer Lawrence attended a photocall of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ held at the Villa Magna Hotel in Madrid, Spain this afternoon with co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

On this occasion she wore a youthful Alexander McQueen blue-and-white look from the Spring 2014 collection.

Her commercial two-piece consisted of a spine-knit crop top and skirt, which she styled with bi-colour Jimmy Choo ‘Daiquiri’ black-and-white studded pumps and Monique Pean earrings.

The hair was shaped into a modern choppy, layered ‘do, with a dark nail polish and glossy lips completing the look.

You haven’t warmed to many of Jennifer’s looks on this promo tour, so how does this one fare?

You can buy Jennifer’s Jimmy Choo ‘Daiquiri’ Pumps from Jimmy Choo US and Jimmy Choo UK.

I love this ! It’s fun and youthful, and still chic.
The shoes could have been better though.

    • Sandy November 13, 2013 at 15:49 #

Spot on. I loved all her looks so far though.

Agreed. Her best look so far in this promo tour! She looks good here

  4. Anna November 13, 2013 at 14:11 #

Gorgeous, youthful, vibrant, absolutely lovely! I can’t wait for her to get out of Doir deal. Oh the good old times when she wore Prabal Gurung…

    • Mandy November 13, 2013 at 21:38 #

Totally agree, the colour is wonderful on her as well. I have my fingers crossed for some Prabal Gurung too.

  5. Yeliz November 13, 2013 at 14:13 #

This has to be her best look at this promo tour so far. She looks gorgeous.

    • mm November 13, 2013 at 16:18 #

i agree. leave dior to natalie

  6. CreoleLady November 13, 2013 at 14:14 #

Definitely several steps in the right direction. Color, fitted, fab heels. Still dislike the hair. Notably (and the best aspect imo), NOT Dior.

    • CreoleLady November 13, 2013 at 14:29 #

Just wanted to add how much I like the lip color and makeup. Her complexion glows. Leave the dark moody colors for others. She looks fresh, vibrant.

  7. Carrie November 13, 2013 at 14:19 #

This is moving in the right direction for her! Fun, colorful, and youthful.

    • anonymous as always November 13, 2013 at 20:54 #

+1 I love this too! The hair, the fresh make up, the colour combination with the shoes… She looks great!

  8. stella November 13, 2013 at 14:23 #

Love it! perfect! Keep moving in this direction please!!

  9. Shara November 13, 2013 at 14:25 #

Not crazy about the crop top, but the color looks great on her and I just LOVE the shoes and the hair.

  10. Lee ann November 13, 2013 at 14:27 #

I really do not think the shoes work with this look at all.completely wrong colour

  11. Ashley November 13, 2013 at 14:30 #

This is the antidote to the DIOR-bore show. Colorful, fitted, & youthful! The choppy hair echos the jagged detailing on the dress.

  12. the ogre November 13, 2013 at 14:36 #

Her best look so far!!! Fresh and youthful! That blue is electrifying against her skin and those shoes are the right addition. It could well have been plain black or white pumps. Come on Jennifer! Surprise us today please!

  13. Saree November 13, 2013 at 14:39 #

Cannot fault a thing, not even the crop top.
The shoes compliment the dress and it’s design. The lipstick compliment the colour of the dress. The edgy hair style compliment the print of the dress.

She better bring it at the premiere.

  14. Neli November 13, 2013 at 14:43 #

Much better but hate her hair….

  15. kane November 13, 2013 at 14:45 #

I can’t say I’m wowed by this, but it’s okay.

  16. Ela November 13, 2013 at 14:50 #

    Like this.

I think the hair in the front actually needs to be a bit shorter to really work an edgier, chic look.

  17. Kevinappears November 13, 2013 at 15:03 #

Finally she’s not wearing ugly Dior! I would give the outfit a full mark even without looking at it!

  18. shap_half November 13, 2013 at 15:07 #

Easily her best look of the tour so far. She looks wonderful, youthful and actually like she understands her own style. This is great!

  19. JJ November 13, 2013 at 15:24 #

    Love the blue.

  20. Marta November 13, 2013 at 15:50 #

    Don’t like the shoes.
But it’s better than previous looks.

  21. Prudence November 13, 2013 at 16:03 #

when she isn’t wearing dior she looks her age and she looks happy in her clothes!

    • dee November 13, 2013 at 17:09 #

So true. I really like this look.

    • JJ November 14, 2013 at 20:10 #

It makes me wonder why she chose to endorse Dior. Wouldn’t there be other houses better suited to a star in her early 20s? McQueen? Prabal Gurung? Naeem Khan?

  22. The Dame Intl November 13, 2013 at 16:12 #

Finally, something age appropriate and suiting her.

  23. Caro Chanel November 13, 2013 at 16:32 #

Finally! This is a sporty chic look. I really like that. Now she just have to wow us in an elegant gown too. Btw I love the shoes and the hair.

  24. Noemi November 13, 2013 at 16:47 #

Cute dress, cute shoes, wrong together. But most of all cute girl.

  25. justme November 13, 2013 at 17:20 #

I’m usually a fan of pixie cuts but Jennifer just doesn’t pull it off. Her facial features are way too round.

R: her outfit, I don’t like it but since it’s not Dior, I’m going to pretend like I do lol.

  26. amy November 13, 2013 at 17:21 #

best promo look so far. this is the proof that DIOR is not her thing. Every time she chooses another brand, it’s a win

  27. Aline November 13, 2013 at 17:28 #

Finally something that matches her personality! This is much improved.

I still strongly dislike the haircut, though. It just ages her so much.

  28. Nat November 13, 2013 at 17:57 #

It could had been better but still it is much better than any Dior outfit she wore. At least on this one she looks her age and not boxy.

    • Alina November 13, 2013 at 18:36 #

  29. Namel November 13, 2013 at 18:05 #

I like it a lot. Perfect fit, nice colour age+event appropriate, and she looks comfortable in it.

    • admmgz November 13, 2013 at 23:01 #

  30. AnderBoBo November 13, 2013 at 19:58 #

Love this! I really think her relationship with Dior has handicapped her ability to hit any fashion homeruns during this promo tour which is unfortunate.

  31. La-Shaun November 13, 2013 at 20:08 #

I like this for her. Diamond studs would have been nice.

  32. Rebecca Z November 13, 2013 at 20:32 #

    Cute–not fabulous, but cute.

  33. Kathy November 13, 2013 at 21:55 #

This looks great on her, but something needs to be done about the hair. It’s not the cut or the length, it’s that she can’t just wear it loose and tousled with EVERY outfit.

  34. Jess2 November 14, 2013 at 13:56 #

Fantastic look (well up to the hair which unfortunately is not my favourite thing). She keeps showing that she looks amazing in almost anything but Dior.

  35. Susan November 14, 2013 at 16:36 #

It’s OK. Doesn’t make me want to go out and buy it.

  36. Bailey November 11, 2014 at 01:52 #

I like the colour and the shoes
