Lady Gaga In Thom Brown – Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013

Lady Gaga In Thom Brown - Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013Lady Gaga couldn’t let an opportunity like the Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013 awards in New York City yesterday night pass without whipping out another of her head-turning fashion concoctions

Capping off her eccentric, lavender look from earlier in the day, Mother Monster had yet another major—and memorable—moment in an all-white extravaganza by Thom Browne. After all, she needed to have an ostentatious outfit to accept her Monster Talent Award for launching the Born This Way Foundation to end bullying.

The Thom Browne Spring 2014 collection was not absent of controversy, with tinges of Elizabethan style and flashes of insanity permeating the runway. So, perhaps it was destined to end up on Gaga, being perfectly suited to her shock-and-awe persona.

The pearl-studded, sculpted jacket, gloves and pencil skirt all came bearing a sense of exaggeration. But, when coupled with Gaga’s powdering makeup, blood-red lip and a mop of an ashen-blonde, frizzy wig, the look moved into the hyper-extreme territory in which the songstress often lives.

The sky-high platforms are again back in full force, with these custom pearl numbers nearly stealing the show—and extending Gaga’s vertical reach at least 10 inches upwards.
