Lady Gaga In Thom Brown – Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013

Lady Gaga In Thom Brown - Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013Lady Gaga couldn’t let an opportunity like the Glamour Magazine Women Of The Year 2013 awards in New York City yesterday night pass without whipping out another of her head-turning fashion concoctions

Capping off her eccentric, lavender look from earlier in the day, Mother Monster had yet another major—and memorable—moment in an all-white extravaganza by Thom Browne. After all, she needed to have an ostentatious outfit to accept her Monster Talent Award for launching the Born This Way Foundation to end bullying.

The Thom Browne Spring 2014 collection was not absent of controversy, with tinges of Elizabethan style and flashes of insanity permeating the runway. So, perhaps it was destined to end up on Gaga, being perfectly suited to her shock-and-awe persona.

The pearl-studded, sculpted jacket, gloves and pencil skirt all came bearing a sense of exaggeration. But, when coupled with Gaga’s powdering makeup, blood-red lip and a mop of an ashen-blonde, frizzy wig, the look moved into the hyper-extreme territory in which the songstress often lives.

The sky-high platforms are again back in full force, with these custom pearl numbers nearly stealing the show—and extending Gaga’s vertical reach at least 10 inches upwards.

She is probably the only one who can wear this collection. Hilarity of course.

The old lady face and hair…awfully scary and off-putting.

Why does she have to take something that would’ve been interesting and different on it’s own and then style it until it looks so cheap and ridiculous?

I’m so so so beyond over it. I’d be okay with her making a statement with her clothes if she actually had one to make other than “Let’s see how much buzz I can get over wearing this ugly look”.

Do I even want to comment. She looks like her usual ridiculous self.

She does not wear clothes well and never has. I am sure she sees herself as artistic and innovative but she it not. Her clothing choices are the obvious choices of an insecure and immature individual with really no point of view.

Lady Gaga dressing in a Halloween costume everyday isn’t fashionable or stylish…even if it is couture.
She always looks ridiculous IMO and this is no exception

Glamour is a magazine for halloween?. They should dismiss those who made the decision to select Gaga as Woman of the Year.

  11. Pilar November 13, 2013 at 10:05 #

The sin was committed by glamor, a fashion magazine?, Not Gaga.

She’s a bit short and chubby for this look, but I could have looked past that if it weren’t for the shoes: they are just appalling.
