Evan Rachel Wood In Tome – CFDA/Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Evan Rachel Wood In Tome - CFDAVogue 2013 Fashion Fund FinalistsEvan Rachel Wood was also among the fashion pack at the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists celebration, hosted yesterday evening at Spring Studios in New York City.

The ’10 Things I Hate About Life’ actress was, perhaps surprisingly, wearing a colour other than black, which served her well. She struck a sophisticated pose in a red, plunge-front column gown by Tome.

Adding more visual interest to the simple dress, she accessorized with a Rona Pfeiffer bracelet and Neil Lane earrings. A crimson lip and a swept-back ‘do completed the elegant entrance.

Do you think Rachel is so far making a radiant return to the red carpet?

This needed a lot of tailoring.

I agree with most of the other comments, she looks like a beautiful 40some years old.

I think this color is aging her?…beautiful smile tho.

    So uninspiring!

There she goes! On a rare occasion she chooses to wear something other than black which lets her complexion glow and then goes and does that to her hair. Very disappointing!

OMG she looks like a combination of my aunt and Bonnie Wright.

Something about the dress feels unfinished. Or maybe she just desperately needs a necklace and some jewelry. And the hair is SO mumsy. Overall, this just doesn’t work.

I think she looks good in this, but totally agree that it makes her look about 40. Why does she want to present herself as so much older than she really is–she can’t be more than 25, if that?

    The hair is a disaster.

OMG that is exactly what I thought when I saw this look! The hair, the make-up, everything! My god, isn’t this girl in her early 20’s? She could easily be in her 40’s here. AWFUL!
