Lily Collins In Givenchy – Flaunt Magazine En Garde! Issue Launch Party

Lily Collins In Givenchy - Flaunt Magazine En Garde! Issue Launch Party

Lily Collins attended the Flaunt Magazine En Garde! Issue launch party hosted at Hakkasan Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

While I’m delighted by the return of her bold lip, I can’t say that I’m too enamoured by her Givenchy Fall 2012 red-and-black silk-and-lace dress.

You may remember I was never particularly a fan of this collection. The only celebrity who tried to make it work off the runway was Amanda Seyfried. Tried and failed, not surprisingly.

There is nothing that could’ve made this look better – not her Jimmy Choo ‘Amika’ pumps and not her sexy bed hair.

Oh no… another nightie at an event. When will this madness end?

This is not her look. Agreed

i don’t know why i never found this girl pretty, there is something off with her face i guess those eyebrows need to go

Yeah it’s not as modern and fashion forward as she usually is, but I really don’t see the massive issue with this look. I clicked on the link to Amanda’s dress and that is truly hideous (even though I’m a huge Amanda fan)- this is definitely not in the same league as that look!
I think she’s got this sexy, 90′s slip-dress vibe going on. I like the black pattern on the red and I love her hair and makeup. I think it’s the silky loose material that’s taking away the edge.

This dress is so ugly and unflattering… no no no.

I only like the shoes and the bold lip.

I think she makes it work far better than Amanda did and that too only because how she styled the dress. Love her hair and make up here.

I really like this… I see i’m the only one!

No you’re not, see my comment above! It’s not my favourite look from her, but I do like it.

I don’t agree with you Catherine. This look could be actually better working. The dress just had to be a little shorter , maybe with a black wrest belt and a pair of black stripped ankle sandals. I’d love this outfit with Jason Wu “Già” sandals ,with the Giuseppe Zanotti suede side-lace ankle-tie one or with the BGBGMAXAZRIA Elista leather sandals .

    No.

I loved this collection, never understood the hate towards it!

I like the shoes. The bedhead hair and the ugly nightie–no way.
