Bella Thorne In House of Holland – Flaunt Magazine En Garde! Issue Launch Party

Bella Thorne In House of Holland - Flaunt Magazine En Garde! Issue Launch Party

Bella Thorne attended the Flaunt Magazine En Garde! issue launch party, alongside its cover girl Selena Gomez and Lily Collins, at the Hakkasan Restaurant in Beverly Hills, California last night.

The star didn’t stray from her colourful dressing M.O., selecting an embellished white and coral House of Holland top and coordinating navy-and-coral pleated House of Holland skirt for the night’s festivities. The quirky set showed off just a sliver of midriff, allowing for most of the attention to be paid to the dramatic puffed sleeves and playful print.

Her blue Charlotte Olympia peep-toe pumps, sparkly silver Edie Parker clutch, and blue-jeweled Dannijo earrings kept the bright and bold theme going strong, as did her matching frosted blue eyeshadow.

While nothing is flagrantly wrong with this outfit — she’s young, having fun, and experimenting with whimsical pieces — I am not a big fan of the coordinated accessories. It felt too put together when there was clearly an outlet to take a more irreverent approach to finishing details.

How do you feel about Bella Thorne’s latest look?

I like the skirt but I wish she paired it with a different top.

I kinda love this ensemble on her and she styled it beautifully.

A lot of times, I find her looks to be too contrived. Here, this looks like a costume from the Jetsons. I might like this, but the person wearing it has to be selling it to me and she’s not.

I think the top and the skirt together are too much.

I agree that this would look better with a different blouse. This top takes the ensemble into costume territory. What concerns me most, however, is the hair which is starting to look like 1960s Tammy Wynette.

It would look better if she had a natural-looking hair color, worn back or at least in a less obtrusive style. The cute dolled-up hair and makeup clash with the boldness of the outfit, imo.

    It’s a no for me.

I do wish she wore a different top, but I’ll give her props for experimenting. I think she should have went with coral color shoes too. I really do like her style though.

the sleeves are just too much

She should have chosen more fun accessories to work with her ensemble – the clutch and earrings are more appropriate for a gown or more glamorous dress.

I would love it if she had worn a different top.
