Elizabeth Olsen In Christian Dior Couture – Guggenheim International Gala

Elizabeth Olsen In Christian Dior Couture - Guggenheim International Gala

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Guggenheim International Gala in New York City last night.

The indie starlet wore a Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture embroidered black wool and silk cocktail dress.

Her non-traditional ‘LBD’ was definitely in tune with the evening’s artsy vibe, having featured a quirky mix of details: black and citron-hued petals along the chest, delicate layers, and a below-the-knee cut, which hinted ever so slightly at being a high-low hemline too.

Black Dior pumps, a Dior Fine Jewelry ‘My Dior’ white gold with diamonds bracelet, and laid-back beach waves completed the look.

    Wow, where can I start.

This is so fug. I can’t grasped my mind around this dress.

Her hairstyle is so wrong with this dress, the dress is a mess and the shoes are boring. A huge NO !

I’m baffled by the hair and the question why she didn’t stick to more interesting shoes, as suggested on the runway.

On the model it looks ethereal and elegant, on Elizabeth I’m afraid it looks like a shapeless sundress. Shame.

This is a great way to put it. And her hair–do something with it!

Horrible. Dior is so awful now. This is one ugly, unflattering dress.

The dress is itself horrible and what’s worse is that it’s a blk carpet and she and her hair of a mess were just lost

Just look at her face, she is so adorable she would look good in a bin liner
(and this is a terrific example)

I have bitten my tongue over these Dior looks, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Every now and then I even like a Dior look. But this is just ugly — in motion and standing still.

Before looking at her face and who it was, I thought this was maternity wear for a celebrity. Not flattering at all.

I don’t even know where to begin with this terrible look. I’m going to agree with all the above comments and then add that I’m VERY over the ombre balayage hair.

Seriously, Dior? What was once a great fashion house is not producing trash bags like this. *shakes head*
