Coco Rocha In Anthony Capon and Aurelio Costarella – Oaks Day

Coco Rocha In Anthony Capon and Aurelio Costarella - Oaks Day

Coco Rocha is still making the fashion-statement rounds in Melbourne, Australia, and her appearance at Oaks Day at Flemington Racecourse today proved even more dramatic than her first track-side look from earlier in the week.

Styled in not one, but two dresses, the model wore a gold rose-adorned Anthony Capon creation over a white Aurelio Costarella cocktail dress. Due to the gold dress’s high-neck collar, architectural shoulders, and exaggerated tutu-like skirt, there was no problem differentiating the layers; in fact, it merely gave Coco’s ensemble added dimension.

Not to be upstaged, her matching rose-adorned Anthony Capon hat continued the theme of standout details, with simple white pumps and wine-coloured lips completing the ensemble.

This is so aesthetically pleasing! The superposition of two dresses is genial.

This is how Gaga should be dressing. It’s artistic, but fashionable.

Way over the top for Oaks Day…..almost a bit ridiculous.

I completely disagree. Oaks Day is considered ‘ladies day’ of the racing season in Melbourne. What better way but to show the ladies how it’s done.

Agree with a lot of others – this is art! BDOTW in my books & possibly BDOTY cause I cannot fault a thing, everything compliments one another.

i didn’t even know this was two dresses worn together — they work so well together that it looks entirely intentional that the dress should be worn like this. one of the BDOTY for me, i think. not only is this a faultless look, coco is owning this dress, it’s entirely appropriate for oak’s day as well as being season appropriate as melbourne’s finally gotten spring like weather in spring.
