Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham - Harper's Bazaar Woman Of The Year Awards 2013

Victoria Beckham was honoured with the ‘Special Contribution to British Fashion’ award for her achievements as a designer at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards held at Claridge’s Hotel yesterday in London.

Attending with the other man in her life, Brooklyn Beckham, the designer was of course decked out in her own threads, wearing a black floor-length gown.

Steeped with classic VB signatures including the exposed zipper at the back, this gown maintains the perfect mix of classic and contemporary, with a sexy cut-out bodice and an elegant puddle train.

Glossy side-swept locks and diamond jewels completed her look.

You may remember that both Rachel Weisz (in tangerine) and Christina Aguilera have previously worn this gown.

I don’t really like the hair and I hate the shoes ! Still, the dress is great on her but nothing exceptionnal here.

The whole look looks kinda dated to me.

I’m really surprised she wore such a basic dress (that has also been worn twice before) to an award show honoring her for her contributions to fashion.
I actually think Christina bought this dress to life more than she did. Not that she looks bad, just boring.

I think both Rachel and Christina put much more life into the gown than Vic.

Agreed. Not feeling her in this dress.

Head to toe this is a completely uninspired look.

And given no one beats Victoria when she’s wearing her own designs it’s really surprising how this is the worst of all three looks.

        +1

I’m probably the minority here, but I like this a lot, especially her hair, and earings.

  7. lily November 6, 2013 at 13:42 #

    Boring

I’m not feeling it, and it appears she wasn’t feeling it either. Like others stated, this look feels dated. Our girl can do so much better.

Queen Victoria looks amazing, as always!

She wore it better than the others for me, but I’m not too excited about this either.

    Really dislike her hair here.

I think she looks pretty though this is not particularly special. For once she looks a little less hostile.

  13. Daisy November 7, 2013 at 05:15 #

My initial impression is I love the gown so I’ll go w it

she looks pretty here and not as rough as usual, love the earings and the hair suits her the most, makes her look younger and softer, dress is just okay..color victoria, color pls

  15. EmmaWoodhouse November 7, 2013 at 18:50 #

    I don’t like the dress.
