Olivia Palermo In Willow – 17th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Olivia Palermo In Willow - 17th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards

Olivia Palermo joined Iman and Stacy Keibler at the 17th annual Accessories Council ACE Awards held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Monday evening.

The socialite picked up the ‘Distinguished Style’ award wearing a black Willow fringed panel top to which she added heart-shaped diamond brooches to each shoulder and an asymmetrical fringe skirt.

Sexy gold Aquazurra lace up sandals, a tribal-esque Rafe New York ‘Lizelle’ clutch, a gold clutch and clear pendant necklace accessorized her look.

A chic center-parted ponytail and kohl-rimmed eyes provided the finishing touches.

      Totally agree!

Yeah totally love the dress… wierd that she would put a chunky clear pendant on top of it, almost ruins it!

Always over-accessorizing. The necklace and bangle were unnecessary with the broaches on the dress. Otherwise it’s a good look.

She is just so darned beautiful! I love this look, but the clear pendant doesn’t seem to have a purpose. Otherwise, I love everything.

The necklace is so out of place ! What was she thinking ?

  4. Yeliz November 6, 2013 at 16:12 #

The necklace ruins the whole look.

  5. Pedro November 6, 2013 at 16:26 #

    She looks amazing!

I agree about the necklace, can’t really take this look seriously with it. The dress is okay, although I don’t think I quite ‘get’ it.

    The necklace is an overkill.

  8. Malinda Jane November 6, 2013 at 16:59 #

She has a tendency to over-accessorize. With all the fringe on the gown she didn’t need the brooches OR that necklace, they’re just overkill.
Aside from that I don’t even really love the dress.

Lose the necklace and bracelet and this would have been a great look.

  10. Tess November 6, 2013 at 17:42 #

The dress is ok, but the necklace is definitely out of place and I don’t like the hairstyle.

    Kuddos for the unnecesary necklace.

I’m actually captivated by the effect of the large clear pendant against the fringed panel top. There is a lot going on with the accessories but somehow it all comes together nicely imo.

What’s with the silly diamante clips she added to the shoulder? She’s runied a perfectly good look by over-accesorising.

I think the brooches needed to go. They ruin the gold- black theme. Other than that she looks beautiful.

Doesn’t this remind you a lot of Nicole’s Jil Sander from a few years ago?

The necklace is a no, and her hair should have been in vintage-style waves, but otherwise this is a great look.
