Rita Ora certainly made an entrance, practically floating onto the red carpet as she arrived for her co-hosting duties at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday at Wembley Arena in London, England.
Enveloped in a sea of white, fluffy frou-frou, the singer’s feathery floral frock from Marchesa’s Spring 2014 collection was certainly a departure from her edgier sartorial ways.
In keeping with the more delicately enchanting garb, she wore B Brian Atwood ‘Labrea’ strappy white sandals and skipped her signature red lip in favour of a cotton-candy-pink gloss while coaxing her long bob into loose, romantic ringlets.
Of course, the look wasn’t totally devoid of Rita’s stylistic brazenness. Her strong smokey eye added some dark drama—and the frock had a thigh-high slit up the centre for an added dash of sass.
I never thought such a soft statement could speak so loudly.
Did her Marchesa moment have you happily on cloud nine or not?
