Amy Adams In Gucci – LACMA Art + Film Gala 2013

Amy Adams In Gucci - LACMA Art + Film Gala 2013

Amy Adams was shimmering on the red carpet for the third annual LACMA Art + Film Gala held at LACMA in California yesterday evening, honouring filmmaker Martin Scorcese and artist David Hockney.

Dressed in a bronze Gucci strapless frock with gathered detail at the waist, I have a feeling that this may not go down too well…the colour of her dress is a very close match to her red locks.

Or, maybe her black patent leather Gucci ‘Lili’ criss-cross sandals as her footwear choice might be the deal breaker.

I find the sandals are too heavy for the look; it’s more about the platform than the colour on this occasion.

Gold Gucci earrings, wavy side-parted tresses and a beautiful deep berry lip shade completed the look.

She should have worn bronze or gold sandals. Love this ankles up.

that copper tone on a really great gown could have created magic. Unfortunately shes wearing a totally lame sleep inducing strapless creation with really bad chunky shoes. as usual she is just OKAY.

This is an example of dark lippie done right, it matches her hair and dress perfectly.

I think the color of the dress looks amazing against her skintone and I love the 40s vibe I’m getting from the neck up. However, I find the design of the dress rather boring. And the shoes are all wrong.

I actually adore gorgeous bronze with her beautiful red locks and rich berry lip. It’s the heaviness of the shoes that bother me on this occasion.

I agree this dress would have been fabulous as a gown. I love that the dress matched her hair….. so gorgeous.

I love the dress and I kind of love that it matched her hair. I like her hair that slightly darker bronze color btw. Hope she keeps it for the Man of Steel sequel. I like the berry lips too. She shouldn’t be afraid to wear bolder lips like that. It’s pretty on her. I like that she’s never too overly thin.

I like the dress, as well as the hair and the make-up. But the shoes are a NO.

She looks OK, but I wish the dress was a gown. That would have been gorgeous!

+1 Yes the color is divine! But a gown…YES.
