Krysten Ritter In Katie Ermilio - A Quest for Beauty The Art Of Van Cleef & Arpels

Krysten Ritter attended A Quest for Beauty: The Art Of Van Cleef & Arpels event held at The Bowers Museum on Saturday evening in Santa Ana, California.

Opting for a striking two-piece from Katie Ermilio’s Spring 2014 collection consisting of a sleeveless silk faille crop top featuring a straight neckline and partially open back with tonal bow detail with a high waist silk faille box pleated skirt with a retro tea-length swing silhouette.

I love her complementary lip colour and champagne-coloured accessories which included Rupert Sanderson ‘Hydra’ peep-toes and a rectangular clutch. And of course one can’t forget to mention that dazzling Van Cleef & Arpels cuff.

For a jewelry event, there may have been a temptation to load up the bling, so I admire her restraint.

Far too long. Makes her proportions look messed up.

Hi FC, do you have any close-ups of the cuff? It looks intriguing! As is the rest of her outfit ^^

I think it’s the wrong choice for her as the proportions are off here. The skirt is way to long, the top makes her shoulders look broader, although her arms are thin. It does nothing for her this outfit. It’s just bizzare.

I adore this look and I am one who usually despises the cropped trend. But there’s a softness to this and the color is beautiful. She is making me love it. I have to say I really do not care for the accessories. I find the shoe too heavy, a sandal would have better complimented it. I also would have preferred a more colorful or sparkly clutch but other than that she looks lovely.

The colour is lovely, and I like the overall playful vibe of the look. Not too fond of the shoes and wish the gap in the middle was a tad smaller. Nice overall, I like it.

This is to die for!!!! I agree that the accessories could have been better, but I don’t even care, b/c everything about this ensemble is so amazing! I especially love the color on her. BDOTW contender, in my eyes.

I love the full skirt and lilac color, but it’s too long and rumpled on her, and the crop top is NOT working.
