Jennifer Hudson In Emilio Pucci – Black Girls Rock! 2013

Jennifer Hudson In Emilio Pucci – Black Girls Rock! 2013

Following the red carpet debut of her pixie cut at the Black Girls Rock! 2013 event which took place at New Jersey Performing Arts on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, Jennifer Hudson went on to wear two more looks while performing and collecting her award.

Both looks were courtesy of Emilio Pucci.

On stage: The first look was a black turtleneck sweater with sheer micro-polka-dot panels paired with a multi-coloured patterned mini skirt with a flounced hem from the Resort 2014 collection which she styled with the same Christian Louboutin over-the-knee boots.

Performance: For her energetic performance she donned a tight pair of leather pants with a black and gold embroidered Emilio Pucci bomber jacket styled with a gold statement necklace and black boots.

Of the three looks, the Balmain is my favourite; however, each look showcased her gorgeous figure, even though the night belonged to her new ‘do which makes her look at least five years younger.

None including Balmain. She looks tacky in 1st. The tight short skirt, the high boots, the turtlenck – none of it is working well for her imo. I like the jacket for her 2nd look but don’t think the tight leather pants are a good choice for her.
Her Balmain looked plain tacky to me as well.

I didn’t care for the Balmain, but these two looks are better, IMO. Those tight leather pants are surprisingly flattering on her. The new ‘do definitely owned th night, though!
