Diane Kruger In Emilia Wickstead – Autism Speaks’ Third Annual Blue Jean Ball

Diane Kruger In Emilia Wickstead - Autism Speaks' Third Annual Blue Jean Ball

Diane Kruger and her handsome beau Joshua Jackson attended the Autism Speaks’ 3rd Annual ‘Blue Jean Ball’ held at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The blonde beauty picked a powder-pink Emilia Wickstead Fall 2013 pearl-embellished silk-blend tuxedo ‘Jamie’ dress with a ‘60s-inspired silhouette.

Usually one to create her own style statements; on this occasion she emulated the runway by teaming her frock with scarlet-red pumps along with a Charlotte Olympia ‘Pandora’ Perspex clutch with a red pouch and a blue Autism Speaks pin.

A centre-parted bun and flame red lips –  a rare touch for Diane – completed her look.

Diane has has three great looks this week.

Which would you like to see up for BDOTW?

The Cushnie Et Ochs, the Marchesa or this pink confection?

I feel that she pulls it off better than others would–quite polished, or would be if the skirt was longer. The red and pink together is a difficult color combo for me to get behind, however.

Quite frankly, the red lip is jarring. The hem is too short and while I like the bold shoes, they don’t go with this dress.

I guess she forgot to wear pants today?

I think the Cushnie is my favorite, but al are great. She truly is a fashion girl. Always different designers! And a lot of effort for accesories and hair. She’s number 1

P.S. What happened to the model’s arm?

I love love love this- the red accents are a genius touch!

Looks like she’s dressed in a half-arsed attempt as a nurse for halloween

    This is beyond gorgeous!!

Is anyone else uncomfortable seeing her in what looks like a old school nurse uniform supporting Autism? I find it a little insincere, rude, and trashy. The dress is beautiful, but from a mother with an son with autism, it’s not at all the time or the place. Clearly a egotistical press moment when she could have been more understated.

I really doubt she made that connection in any way. I certainly understand your sensitivity to the idea, and rightfully so. But I just don’t think there is any way she would intentionally do that. Nurse never even entered my mind until someone mentioned it.

I don’t really like this look. The dress is too short and the bun is kinda aging her. The Cushnie et Ochs look is easily my favourite.

Not a great look. Her Marchesa look was definitely the best one.

What a great couple. I love’em. Is it possible to know the brand of Joshua’s tie? It’s awesome

  13. Juliet October 25, 2013 at 19:24 #

I don’t really like it, she rarely gets it right.

    She looks perfect! BDOTW

Yeah I like it too very much! Ok, it’s true that I would like whatever she wears because I love her style in general, but to me it doesn’t look like a nurse uniform at all. It just looks like a cute tuxedo-dress to my eyes…

        Me too! I love it!

I like it better on Diane. the model looks like she forgot her pants. It’s a fine look

Pass…I think the dress looks like an old school nurse uniform, and those pumps look matronly.

      + 1

+ 1, totally agree, all the elements are beautiful separately but all together plus the hairstyle…I just miss the red cross mob-cap

Kinky nurse dress up was what jumped to mind straight away. No, thanks.

Cushnie Et Ochs of the 3. This is too short, too cutesy, and, I think, with all the red accents, the bold red lip is a bit too much. Plus, while I like the colour, I don’t like the style of her shoes.

  18. Noemi October 25, 2013 at 17:44 #

It’s difficult to choose, maybe this one, she looks stunning and pink is a great color for her.

  19. Alina October 25, 2013 at 17:40 #

This comes as a close second to her Cushnie Et Ochs look.
