Beauty Trend Spotting: Fresh Faces at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event

While the CFDA may be one of the biggest associations in the fashion world, celebs weren’t just thinking fashion at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event on Wednesday–they were also on their best beauty behaviour.

And while there was plenty of diversity with manis (white, turquoise and nude were all flaunted) and lips (nude, peach and deep berry), one thing was consistent almost across the board: Fresh, flawless faces. The beautiful crowd left their heavy bases and bronzers at home, and put their gorgeous skin on display.

Camille Belle went for a completely understated, matte beauty look to compliment her bright green frock, and Rachel Bilson paired her floral ensemble with glowing skin.

Emmy Rossum added just a hint of pink to her cheeks giving a delicate flush to her flawless complexion, and while Mary Elizabeth Winstead made a bold statement with her lipstick, she kept her eyes understated and her face was fresh and matte.

Typically you think of heavier makeup as the weather gets colder, but I’m loving this fresh, clean look. Do you agree?
