Ali Larter In Donna Karan – Dream For Future Africa Foundation Inaugural Gala

Ali Larter In Donna Karan - Dream For Future Africa Foundation Inaugural Gala

Ali Larter attended Gelila And Wolfgang Puck’s Dream For Future Africa Foundation Gala at Spago in Beverly Hills, California.

She couldn’t have selected a more fitting look for the occasion, deciding upon this earthy, colour-block halter dress with a sun-baked colour palette of orange and terracotta styled with a studded gold cuff and pearlized Edie Parker clutch instead of the statement necklace we saw on the runway.

Deciding upon blown-out tresses, the look was completed with a delightful shimmering orange lip shade and copper eye makeup to round out this roam-free, effortless look.

I like this a lot. The colors, the design of the flowing layers, and the styling. I’m sure it looks even better in movement. Really good luck and I’m SO happy to see unusual colors on the red carpet.

On the runway, it was gorgeous but on the red carpet it looks like a sack.

Love this dress, silhouette and colors both. Refreshingly different.

+2, and it was an appropriate choice, considering Donna Karan frequently travels to, suppports, and is inspired by Africa, which also has a profound influence on her collections.

I don’t like the dress, but if she had to wear it I wish she’d gone with a sort of statement necklace (like the model).
