Diane Kruger In Marchesa – Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Dinner

Diane Kruger In Marchesa - Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Dinner

Following the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event during the day, Diane Kruger also attended the dinner party held at Bouchon in Beverly Hills, California in the evening.

She slung a white blazer over her metallic-gold lace Marchesa Spring 2014 cocktail dress, which featured multicoloured floral threadwork embroidery and a ballet-pink underlay.

There were mixed feelings on her pastel-hued accessories for the day event, but for her after-dark look she wore her favourite Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a complementary gold Smythson clutch.

Which look do you prefer? Day or night?

    Flawless here!

Gorgeous. She can make just about anything work and no matter what it’s always interesting.

Very true. I like this best. While I would prefer it without the blazer altogether, I understand it’s cold, and this is a chic option for keeping at least somewhat warm.

I liked her other look, but nothing beats a beautiful Marchesa, for me, at least.

I prefer the night look too.

+3. January Jones should learn with her. She lost all her fierce factor.

This is stunning! I love it from h2t and much better than her day look!

I choose the Day look. Her styling with pastel-hued accessories was delightful, it all looked nicely and subtly pulled together.
Here the dress is pretty but I don’t think her sandals work that well with it and the blazer looks random and out-of-place.

Day look for me, but I really appreciate the fact that she made Marchesa look beautiful.

    Beautifully executed!

I prefer this without the blazer and the sandals are just so-so. The day look was better.

      Agreed. Prefer her day look

I like both looks a lot, and I think what she shows us in both is how good she is at picking the right accessories to elevate the clothing she’s wearing. Even the inclusion of the blazer, while not necessary, is nice personal-style twist.

Could anyone find where Dakota Johnson’s dress from this event is from, can’t locate it.

Day look for me. The sandals are just okay and tipped the scales.

FC, I have a question–the tags list Hussein Chalayan on this post, but there’s no mention of him. Is he the designer of the jacket perchance? Thanks :-)

I like everything but the blazer here. I was in love with her day look, so it is much preferred.

She always looks so elegant and nonchalant. It’s a beautiful dress and she even makes me accept the blazer.
