Sun Li In John Galliano – Jimmy Choo Shanghai Event

Sun Li In John Galliano - Jimmy Choo Shanghai Event

Sun Li opted for a colourful, fashion-forward look for the Jimmy Choo commercial event hosted at the Massenet Hotel in Shanghai, China on Tuesday evening.

Known for wearing hot off the runway looks, she made a strong style statement wearing a John Galliano Spring 2014 yellow printed dress (which is slightly modified from the runway version) styled with a black patent leather belt and bright red Jimmy Choo ‘Farah’ booties with a twinkling ankle strap.

Having nailed the print trend while rocking an asymmetrical hem – which is having a bit of a moment – Li completed her bold style statement with a freshly tousled pixie cut, neutral lips and classic cat-eye liner.

Do you think she should’ve chosen either a neutral shoe or a bold, red lip to match the Jimmy Choo booties?

You can buy Sun Li’s Jimmy Choo ‘Farah’ Booties from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

I like the shoes but not with the dress. A neutral shoe would have looked better to me. The dress is cute.

+1! I can picture these shoes with an elegant gown, it does nothing for the fun print of this dress.

One of the rare occasions I would have preferred to see a basic black heel. The red is an eye-sore and takes away from the dress. Which is quite cute.

The shoes are not working with this dress

Since this is a Jimmy Choo event, I think the shoes are quite beautiful and event appropriate. I think she should’ve chosen a more simple dress instead.

I like the shoes better than the dress, but they definitely shouldn’t be worn together.

I agree. The shoes ARE better than that dress.

Totally agree. Love the shoes, the dress is too short and not great.
