Anne Hathaway In J. Mendel – Elyse Walker’s Pink Party

Anne Hathaway In J Mendel - Elyse Walker's Pink Party

As the host of Elyse Walker’s Pink Party held at Hangar 8 in Santa Monica, California on Saturday evening, Anne Hathaway was (of course) wearing pink.

She decided upon this J. Mendel sleeveless frock from the Spring 2014 collection with a tiered skirt featuring a floral lace insert, which was presented as a maroon leather dress last month on the runway.

Her pretty pink frock was styled with black accessories, including an Edie Parker clutch and embellished pumps.

I’m not a fan of the accessories as they weigh down her light-weight frock. I would’ve taken the white runway pumps over her choice any day.

A cute color for her but the styling is terrible and the dress itself is bunchy, unflattering, and too short.

  • jeremyrain

It’s time for Anne to ditch her chupacabra for that better styling.

    • KatieKate

      Yeah.

  • TeaAtTwo

She would have been better off with the runway shade but the accessories are really bland.

  • Nat39

I don’t like this dress on her, and her styling is underwhelming.

  • Christine

Not a fan of this look

  • Sleepless in Chicago

I do not care for the dress and find the look very unflattering. Has she gained a ton of weight? I guess poor Anne Hathaway has no luck with pink (remember the last Oscar’s scandalous pink disaster)?

  • Yeliz

Boring styling and cheap-looking dress, not liking this look.

  • Tori

Love the photo with Rachel Zoe! Such a sixties look

    • KatieKate

I felt the opposite–I mean, yes, total sixties, but both of them look ridiculous. RZ being the far worst of the two. Someone held her down and bronzed her to death. She looks really aged and tryhard, and just bad.

I’m not a fan of the dress to begin with, but it might have worked with some serious styling. But that ain’t it.

I dont care for the look, at all. I do care however that she’s back on dark hair 🙂
