Rita Ora In Fendi & John Galliano – iHeartRadio LIVE

Rita Ora In Fendi - iHeartRadio LIVE

Despite posing in a Maison Martin Margiela Couture look on instagram last night, Rita Ora didn’t wear the look for her red carpet arrival or performance for iHeartRadio LIVE presented by Bloomingdale’s yesterday evening.

We also now know that she only dyed the tips of her blonde hair both pink and orange to punk up her ‘do for Fall.

Red Carpet: Wearing head-to-toe Fendi the British singer wore a striped mink-and-knit sweater, striped mink skirt and leather booties with mink detail and sculpted heel all from the Fall 2013 collection. Beads of sweat are forming on my brow just looking at her in this outfit.

Performance: She had even more fun with her performance look donning a John Galliano Spring 2014 yellow frock with sheer inserts and laser-cut floral appliqués, styling the look with the black-and-yellow bow front wedges the dress was presented with on the runway. While I love the look, it may just be a tad too short and twee for Rita.

I know many of you do not like Rita’s style, so do you like either of these looks?

    Nope, not at all

The fur is making me itchy, and sweaty, just looking at it. And is it wrong that I just want to shave her head, and start over. A la Jessie J?

*I know the reason behind Jessie’s shave, just an example in case anyone gets upset*

The performance outfit is indeed too twee, but a great color. The shoes are brilliant. I just don’t like them on Rita – she does absolutely nothing, for either outfit!

Trying to be Lady gaga, by courting attention by wearing the most shocking clothes. Nope, still not happening. Why are they trying to make her happen. She is not an A list superstar.

I will give her credit for having the best Publicist and stylist in the game! Even though she is D list, they get her the best stuff.

Ciara has sold millions of records, but she could only dream of getting her hands on things like this.

I like the yellow dress but not the shoes. The first look is horrid.

+1 But I have to say she is rocking her hair cut, though I don’t love the colors.

In response to Cory, Rita is very big in the U.K. Her first album debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and two of the album’s songs, How We Do (Party) and R.I.P., reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart.
However, here in America, she has not had much success, with How We Do (Party) peaking at #62 on the Billboard Hot 100. It does seem odd that a singer who has had trouble breaking out in America could become so famous in America.

Yeah, I have never, not once, heard a song of hers, and all I listen to is Pop and Top 40 radio, al the time. Sooooo…..

The first look is a big mess and the second one is cute but as many of you said it doesn’t really suit her. She always tries way too hard to look edgy but She lacks the presence to pull these outfits off. The only dress I really loved on her was the black and white Vionnet that She wore a few weeks ago: minimalistic and perfectly styled.

lmao, this is me EVERY time I look at her. I just don’t get it and I don’t want to tbh.

I loved that Fendi collection, but she is not doing anything with it, and really, off the unway, it should have been styled as separates, and in January. The Galliano works for her, IMO, shoes especially. I’m glad she kept them, they make the outfit. I’m not a fan, but I’m just putting myself in the position of, ” IF I liked her, and IF I were going to a performance of hers, what would I like to see her wearing?” This is the type of outfit that seems to fit.
