Gwen Stefani was also among the glittering roster of stars at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala, hosted yesterday at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, California.

As Salvatore Ferragamo sponsored the gala, Gwen appropriately selected one of the designer’s gowns for the occasion. She sparkled in her Resort 2012 fringed dazzler with jewelled halter neckline, which cleverly cascaded over the pregnant singer’s baby bump.

With her blonde locks coaxed into a sculpted ‘do and rocking her signature red lippie, she also wore the look with a metallic statement cuff, Jennifer Fisher jewelry and clutch. Of course, her tux-clad plus-one, husband Gavin Rossdale, was perhaps her most handsome accessory.

You may remember Araya A. Hargate wore a less accessorized version of this Ferragamo dress at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

Karolina’s one hard act to follow, but Gwen has a surprisingly sizzling shot at it and given this is almost maternity wear it’s pretty spectacular.

I don’t like the dress but I think she carries it off well. Gwen has a unique way to make her quirky looks work.

This is spectacular on her. Quirky is right–I generally hate these kinds of fringed dresses, but it she really wears it well. She looks absolutely great.

I want to meet Gwen in person. I mean really, she could wear anything and make it look gazillion times better. How does she do that? She’s been doing that for a long time. I remember wanting her sunnies and found out they were only 40 USD! She makes everything look expensive and effortless. And with that photo, it kinda soared to my BDOTY. I’m definitely securing a spot for her. In short, I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE ITTTTTT! (Oprah style!) :D :D :D

I’m right there with ya! She’s a rockstar on and off the stage. Love her in everything. But this is truly on a par all its own!

Araya’s styling was flawless with the simple studded earrings, slicked back ‘do and light pink lip. Gwen’s sculpted ‘do and bold red lip are too loud and simply too much for this already ott fully beaded fringed gown. Araya is the one who got it right in my book.

Charlize Theron is hard to beat this week given she was just a goddess but Gwen Stefani comes a very close second.
I love how much fun she appears to be having with this look – with Araya the dress appeared dull – but Gwen shows off the movement in all its glory
    *LOVE*
and who knew maternity wear could be so much fun!

Beautiful! Love the fringe which must be constantly in beautiful movement–I’d be twirling the whole time! It’s an interesting maternity choice, and imo one of her best-ever looks.
