Rita Ora In Roberto Cavalli – Hakkasan Restaurant

Rita Ora In Roberto Cavalli - Hakkasan Restaurant

Rita Ora was glimpsed making a red-haute exit from Hakkasan in Beverly Hills, California yesterday.

The British songstress served up a head-to-toe Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2013 number that was matchy-matchy in the most enticing way possible.

The tromp l’oeil tweed-effect jacket, skirt and blouse were all emblazoned with a fiery, baroque orange-scroll motif, ratcheting up the sultry impact of the tailored black-and-white separates.

Geometric, harlequin-like booties finished the look off with an interesting flourish, as Rita’s perpetual crimson pout continued to dominate her beauty story.

This might sound strange, but for me this is one of her best looks.

+2 I think she looks pretty cool. Much better than what she used to wear.

    She is making it work

When I saw this post I was like Oh I like but then I got to her choice of footwear. Even if the shoes are up her alley, it just clashes overall with her outfit. Sometimes the footwear helps the overall look and when it doesn’t it just looks like a mess. And her hair and make up could have been better.

had the show been a simple black strappy sandal I would have loved this but as usual this girl takes it wayyy too far and enters tackyville.

Once again, she destroyed what could be a great look with those ugly shoes and hair. I just cannot be with this girl. Would it kill her image forever if she have nature hair? At least once?

Listen. This is Rita Ora we’re talking about. This is borderline amazing for her. Plus, as someone said, she’s no Lucy Liu, so she’s never going to dress ‘demure’, or even ‘chic’, but this is well put-together, and speaks to her aesthetic, without being heinous. Sure, the shoes are OTT, but it’s RITA! All that said, I stillthink she could’ve done far better in the hair and makeup dept. As the new face of both Rimmel and DKNY, she should be expected to represent!

And is Hakkasan like the only restaurant in Beverly Hills??

  7. Iris October 15, 2013 at 20:06 #

In two minds about the shoes but the rest of the outfit is fabulous, matchy matchy OTT fabulous.

    Yowza..I love it all!!!

Too much muchness. Lucy Liu barely pulled it off, and Rita’s no Lucy. Also the shoes are heinous.

It’s way too much, but somehow it works for me, even the shoes.

+1 Even though i find it hard to believe, i like it!

I can get on board with the individual pieces, especially the jacket and the dress, as worn by Lucy, but not together. And the shoes are ugly.

I prefered Lucy Lui’s dress in this print but she looks good nonetheless

I love it. The orange motif is beautiful, I’d opt for a simpler shoe, but I love it anyway, the matchiness is working here imo to a captivating, eye-catching effect.

The shoes are ugly and way too much. I like the skirt and the blouse.
