Elizabeth Banks In Dolce & Gabbana – Variety’s 5th Annual Power of Women Event

Elizabeth Banks In Dolce & Gabbana - Variety's 5th Annual Power of Women Event

Elizabeth Banks made a welcome return to the red carpet for Variety’s 5th Annual Power of Women event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday afternoon where she was honoured for her work on behalf of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

We haven’t seen much of the actress on the red carpet this summer, so we can forgive her for jumping on the crop trend a little late.

She looked divine wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 red-hot two-piece which both featured lace embroideries.

Nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, a ring and bracelet from Jennifer Meyer and gold Irene Neuwirth earrings accessorized her look.

Her blonde tresses were teased into a bouffant updo with a complementary red lip colour to match her ensemble provided the finishing touches.

I’m not fan of the shoes – but everything else is beautiful.

Not crazy about the shoes, but they can get a pass, she looks great!

I agree with everyone that said she looks beautiful. I usually don’t even give a lace embroidered frock from Dolce a second look, because, for one, they are everywhere, and tend to all look kinda the same. But not this. This looks special and unique on Elizabeth. I love a fair-skinned blonde in red.

Well I’ll be in the minority but I don’t think she looks her best, compared to her last major red carpet outings. I think she looks kind of uncomfortable here and her accessories are phone-it-in. It makes me sad. She’s the type to set the red carpet on fire with her heel prints. I don’t sense it here. She seems sad somehow. :(

I don’t like the shoes, and I wish it wasn’t a crop top. Otherwise I like it.
