Jamie Chung In Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Gravity’ New York Premiere

Jamie Chung In Cushnie et Ochs - ‘Gravity’ New York Premiere

It was a packed red carpet with Jamie Chung joining Sandra Bullock, Emma Watson and Katie Holmes at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City for the ‘Gravity’ premiere.

Shunning the summer dress code adhered to by the other attendees, Jamie wore a forest-green Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2013 long-sleeved dress with a pointy neckline, which she styled with black pumps, gold MANIAMANIA ‘La Belle Russe’ earrings and an ‘Ishtar’ knuckle ring.

As Jamie’s style is at times very predictable, I love this change of pace. The minimal styling works in her favour here.

I would’ve preferred a more interesting pair of shoes, but she still looks nice.

I have never thought her style predictable but I could be biased because I love her fashion choices so much. It’s always interesting, colorful, and well-fitting.
Granted the shoes could’ve been more inspiring, but I think she was the best-dressed at the premiere including against Sandra Bullock’s look.

Perfect from the ankles up. The shoes are a letdown.

I think this dress would look even more beautiful with emerald coloured gems on the shoulders.

I don’t think this dress got the styling it deserved.

She looks amazing here. I really love this sophisticated look on her. She usually dresses a bit younger, which is fine b/c she is young, but I love this unpredictability. BDOTW contender in my book.

I like this modest cut-out of this dress and the pared down styling works well.

Better shoes would be nice, but otherwise I love this unexpected dress. It’s the kind of modern dress Mulan would wear. :)
