Ashley Greene In Houghton – ‘CBGB’ LA Screening

Ashley Greene In Houghton - 'CBGB' LA Screening

Ashley Greene attended a screening of Xlrator Media’s ‘CBGB’ at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a pretty Houghton Spring 2013 ivory silk dress with floral embroidery and a front slit, which she styled with a gold clutch and nude pumps.

My first thought was that the dress washed her out, but on reflection it’s the blonde hair which just isn’t working for me.

I much prefer the darker-blonde hue she was rocking at ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ premiere over this colour.

she often has problems with pretty dress being ruined with clunky (usually nude-tone) shoes. missing her dark brown hair…she looks healthier with it

The hair color is terrible. She’s so much better as brunette. The dress is a little bland, too short, and I don’t like the slit. The shoes are boring.

The dress looks skimpy on her–maybe it is the shorter length–my first impulse was to say it was a size too small. I also don’t like the blond hair on her and the shoes are a real letdown.

Bad, should’ve kept the slightly longer, more sophisticated length and clearly needed a more inspiring shoe. The hair is not good but gets a pass if it’s for a movie.

The dress makes her look old. Boring shoes (she has a serious problem getting in line with some dress shoes)
The hairstyle does not help her look.

    My verdict: Totally bored

I only like the dress. The hair colour is totally washing her out.

I like her better as a brunette and the dress is just OK on her. The shoes are boring.

Yes to the dress, no to the styling and hair. Please bring back the rich brown colour. Is it for a movie ?

I like the longer skirt better. The proportions seem to fit more nicely and the slit makes sure that you will show some skin anyway. Her styling is a bit snoozy too.

The model looks much better : length of the dress, sandals, plus the color of the hair is not good.

    Blonde hair doesn’t suit her.

+1 Everything washes her out now thanks to that ugly hair.

The dress is nice, but her hair colour should be dark brown.

+1 It’s a nice look, but definitely missing her as a brunette

+2, I thoroughly agree. This is a really pretty dress, the embroidery is lovely, and it would’ve looked smashing on her if she were still brunette. The darker haircolor brought out her eyes so much, and just suited her so much better overall.

Agree. The blond doesn’t work on her. I like the dress, but she should have matched the shoes to the bronze purse. That would have made the look a little more vibrant.
