Holland Roden In Emporio Armani – 2013 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party

Holland Roden In Emporio Armani - 2013 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party

Holland Roden was one of the many starlets to don an Emporio Armani frock for the 2013 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party held in LA on Friday evening.

The ‘Teen Wolf’ star of course gave us a bright-coloured look, selecting a purple double-breasted blazer dress with notched lapels which was both smart and sexy.

Rupert Sanderson ‘Avril’ black-and-white ankle-strap sandals, Effy earrings and a black David Webb ring accessorized her look, with a voluminous half-up, half-down ‘do, extreme smoky eyes and a nude lip completing her look.

While Holland is known for her signature bold lip, which has served as quite an inspiration to me, I love that she made the blazer dress the focus of her look on this occasion.

Some may say this look is a bit 80s and I would agree, but done in a good way.

I have to disagree. I think this is the 80s gone wrong.

I agree. Especially, the hairstyle, awful !

      I agree.

I only like the shoes. This is a terrible look, starting with the dress, going to the helmet hair, and aging makeup.

+1, but I don’t even like the shoes.

Love the blazer dress. Hate the rest.

Softer eye make-up and gold or turquoise strappy sandals would’ve made this a winner.

I’ll have to agree with you, FC, about the 80′s look done great. And I’m glad she choose this purple dress, as it goes great with her red locks. The styling is also very good.

Yes, count me in. She is really working a Robert Palmer, ‘Addicted to Love’ look for the 2010′s, and I love it. Very cool, fun, young, edgy, hip.

I see the point, but just can’t stand blazers worn as dresses. It’s so confusing.

Her hair looks awful. Ruined the look.

      Agreed.

I think this is another great look from Holland, however, i particularlly don’t like this hair style on her, it doesn’t look awful to me as some have said, but is not doing the great things that beautiful red hair can do for her.

I like the purple blazer dress on her, perhaps she could’ve added a metallic or contrasting black belt. It’s the overdone hair and makeup that are completely killing the look for me.

Love the styling, and the color, but not the silhouette.
