Laura Whitmore In Zara – Macmillan De’Longhi Art Auction 2013

Laura Whitmore In Zara - Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction 2013

Laura Whitmore attended the Macmillan De’Longhi Art Auction, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, at the Royal College of Art in London yesterday evening, where she DJ’d at the event.

You will be forgiven if you thought she was wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 dress.

She’s actually wearing a Zara lace-trimmed lingerie dress clearly inspired by said collection, which she styled with a leather biker jacket slung over her shoulders and a pair of lust-worthy buckled booties.

I know some of you are purists, preferring runway looks not to be diluted on the high street, but when the results look so good and the price points are so different, it’s hard to resist.

The addition of the leather biker jacket maketh the look and take it to the next level! The booties are so perfect too! Love this!

I really do not like this outfit, even if I think that the dress is great.

I disliked the LV Fall 2013 collection, but for some reason, I love this look. She looks great.

It just looks so 90s to me, which may well be the point, but as a personal preference, I have no desire to relive the fashion of the 90s. For crying out loud, I was an angst-filled teenager, and it doesn’t have the best connotations for me. But I digress…

I don’t really like it. I love checks, but not lingerie. I like leather jackets, but not slung over the shoulders. As someone above said, it’s very 1990s.
