2013 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Emmys 1

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the 2013 Emmy Awards.

Padma Lakshmi:
The TV host wore a Kaufmanfranco pale-blue dress with cut-out details accented with sheer illusion panels. She styled her elegant dress with a Robert Lee Morris cuff, gold Jimmy Choo ‘Vinyl’ sandals and spectacular gold earrings. The dress is pretty, but I feel like I have seen this style several times before. I’m more enamoured of her beauty and her jewels on this occasion.

Katie Aselton: The actress wore a beautiful navy-blue Azzaro V-neck gown with delicate gold embellishments, which she styled with Brian Atwood heels, Jacob & Co. jewels and a white Amanda Pearl clutch. As always, perfect from head to toe.

Carla Gugino: The actress turned up the heat wearing a red Georges Chakra gown with a risqué sheer polka-dot panel. The look was styled with Norman Silverman and Demarco jewels, a silver Judith Leiber clutch and Brian Atwood heels.

Emmys 2

Morena Baccarin: The actress dressed her baby bump in an elegant Alexander McQueen scarlet gown with a gold embellished detail at the empire waist. As with so many other scarlet-wearing stars, her shoes, courtesy of Charlotte Olympia, were custom dyed to match her dress.

Taylor Schilling: Thakoon custom made this white-and-cream colour-block silk-crepe column gown with a front slit for the beautiful actress. She styled her look with Marina B jewels and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, which were also custom made.

Emmys 3

Carrie Preston: I think this strapless pale-pink mermaid dress with black piping by Romona Keveza is one of Carrie’s best-ever looks. She looked radiant, styling her look with jewelry from the Open Hearts by Jane Seymour™ collection and a black clutch. I especially love her flame-coloured hair.

Jane Krakowski: Working a blue theme, the actress wore a peacock-blue Zac Posen Fall 2013 strapless satin gown with Wendy Yue turquoise-blue earrings, adding a contrasting acid-green Judith Leiber croc clutch. I’m loving all these chic bobs we are seeing more and more of on the red carpet.

Emmys 4

Edie Falco: I just love the vivid azure-blue hue of Edie’s custom Escada gown with a siren silhouette, cut-out back and central slit. Silver Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ sandals and a selection of silver jewels completed her look.

Alfre Woodard: Looking beautiful wearing a custom Tadashi Shoji pink-opal paillette-embroidered lace gown with a flattering V-neck and soft A-line skirt with scalloped hem, Alfre styled the look with a matching pink Swarovski-crystal ‘Kiosque’ clutch.

Emmys 5

Katrina Bowden: The actress wore a Badgley Mischka navy gown with an open-back and embellished detail, which she complemented with David Yurman jewels.

Jane Lynch: The ‘Glee’ actress also wore Badgley Mischka, selecting a black tuxedo with satin trims styled with a striped mother-of-pearl clutch, a gold tasselled necklace and black patent heels. The big poufy ball gowns never really worked for her. This is more like it; she looks far more comfortable.

Ariel Winter: The young actress wore a pretty pink one-shoulder Lorena Sarbu Spring 2013 chiffon gown with a silver-embellished waistband. She styled her look with Brian Atwood heels, Jacquie Aiche jewels and a sweet side-swept updo.
