Anna Dello Russo In Gucci, Dsquared² & Celine – Milan Fashion Week Day 1

Anna Dello Russo In Gucci, Dsquared² & Celine - Milan Fashion Week Day 1

Anna Dello Russo attended three shows during the first day of Milan Fashion Week, so of course the editor gave us three fabulous wardrobe changes.

Gucci: Seated alongside Blake Lively, Anna wore a Gucci Made to Measure suit from Lapo Elkann’s capsule collection. The cream wool one-button tuxedo with contrasting black peak lapels and a white cotton pleated-front tuxedo shirt was styled with a sleek black silk bowtie, a pair of black velvet Gucci heels and Miu Miu Rasoir sunglasses. Anna works this menswear look so well. I am enamoured of every piece of the look – even the quirky bowtie and geeky glasses.

Dsquared²: For her second show of the day she changed into another suit, this time in black by Dsquared². Keeping the Miu Miu Rasoir glasses, she opted for a smaller bowtie on this occasion and leather shorts, with her chic carryon being a Valentino ‘Rockstud’ bag.

Alberta Ferretti: For her final show of the day Anna wore a Celine Fall 2013 light-grey cashmere clean-lined wool dress that hugged the waist and featured tied sleeves. Keeping both her glasses and clutch from DSquared2, she added yet another quirk via her Mohawk black sandals.

I have to say I adore all three looks, but the Celine has to be my favourite. What could’ve been a so-so look is enlivened by the accessories.

Love the Celine look too. She finally looks her age!

ADR conservative would be like Ivana Trump without the updo hair…no one would recognize her. I give her kudos for going where no woman would dare to go. Someone needs to stretch the bounderies of fashion and risk some “misses”

I enjoy watching what ADR mixes up at least someone in fashion has a good sense of humor and is having fun!

The glasses are a tad too much for me. Otherwise I could get on board of all of these looks as well, especially the Céline.

I only like the Celine look. She looks better than the model, she totally rocks this sophisticated look. I love the accessories only in this look.

I like all the looks bui I miss the trademark of AdR: extravagance.

The Celine would have been my favourite look had she forgone the glasses and the shoes. That dress is gorgeous and is a statement in itself. I know it’s ADR, but the accessories were completely unnecessary.

Let’s be honest, if she wasn’t tall, she could never pull off these looks. But being said, I love every of these.

Hello FC! The eyeglasses are Miu Miu Rasoir Spring 2013 eyeglasses. Hihi. :D

My fave is the Celine look. And can I just swoon over Clement Chabernaud????? That suit fits his perfect face to perfection…. Hahahahaha!

    Like the third look

  9. H September 19, 2013 at 14:23 #

The shoes on the third look really catched my eye, way to bring it!

I don’t even want to comment on her anymore. She part of her outfits always looks ridiculous. What is with those glasses.

      *Some part.

Can’t abide this woman’s style, but that Celine dress is to die for. Don’t like the shoes, but otherwise it looks great on her.

Hey, ADR is wearing not one but two looks that I like. First time for everything.

  13. Nat39 September 19, 2013 at 18:23 #

Celine easily. This is the only look I like, it works best for her.

  14. Yeliz September 19, 2013 at 18:26 #

    I dislike all three looks.

  15. Anj September 19, 2013 at 20:16 #

I love the second and third looks. The first look is just too comical and not in a good way.

  16. Prudence September 19, 2013 at 22:24 #

she looks bad in all 3 outfits.

  17. KatieKate September 20, 2013 at 01:17 #

I love it all. AdR has the fashion chops to pull off a huge variety of looks, and I always enjoy her aura b/c she’s having fun instead of taking herself way too seriously. This series of looks speaks to that je ne se quois that makes her her.

  18. elaine2 September 20, 2013 at 14:40 #

Honestly, I can’t bear to look at this woman. Nothing about her is appealing. The hair, the overly tanned skin, and she always looks as if she’s trying way too hard. I think a lot of that has to do with her ‘holier than thou’ attitude that she extended towards you, Catherine, a couple of years ago.
