Front Row @ Erdem Spring 2014

Front Row @ Erdem

London’s It girls took to the front row of Erdem’s Spring 2014 collection to see what lace-accented floral delights the designer had in store for us this time, with one PYT sticking out like a sore thumb.

Alexa Chung: The DJ didn’t appear to get the floral or lace memo, opting for a cosy Topshop knit sweater (which I have in pink) styled with a leather mini skirt, ankle boots and a Burberry Fall 2013 clutch. While she might not have towed the line with the dress code, the look is very much in tune with her style.

Poppy Delevingne: The socialite donned funky crystal-accented DSquared2 shades while wearing a pretty white frock with colourful floral appliqués from Erdem’s Resort 2014 collection which she styled with black pumps. While the footwear wouldn’t have been my first choice, they coordinate well with the black trims on her dress.

Pixie Geldof: I saw the socialite several times yesterday. While she changed her dress for each show – here she’s wearing an Erdem Pre-Fall 2013 floral frock – she did not part with her trusted Dolce & Gabbana animal-print clutch, or her burgundy booties showcased during Christopher Kane’s Fall 2013 collection.

Daisy Lowe: The model channeled her inner Courtney Love, styling her pretty white lace Erdem Resort 2014 frock with workman-like lace-up boots, with black Prada Heritage cat eye sunglasses and a Miu Miu ‘Bowling’ bag completing her look.

Same boring people at every London FROW. These girls are heralded as style it girls in the UK, which is somewhat worrying.

Fc, I’m sure you make that Top shop sweater look way cuter than Alexa. Way. Cuter.

I like Poppy’s and Pixie’s dresses, but Daisy isn’t working it and Alexa just looks dull and out of place.

I like both Poppy and Pixie’s looks from the ankles up.

Would like to see more stylish British actresses (than socialites, Aussie imports and that One Direction kid) at the front rows of London fashion week. I like Poppy’s dress best, but I’m not crazy about those pumps.

Hi FC! Poppy’s sunglasses are DSquared2 and Daisy’s is Prada Heritage Cat eye sunglasses. Sorry I can’t help it. Hahaha.

Poppy’s look is my favorite. 😀

I have to say that I actually like Poppy, Pixie and Daisy’s dress, I just hate everyone shoes here and Alexa’s entire outfit, this are IT girls who can get their hands on a lot of different shoes, and still they decide for these.

    I’ll have Poppy’s dress and Alexa’s clutch.

I actually like Pixie the best. I think her dress goes very well with her hairdo.

I would love Poppy’s look without the shades and perhaps with different shoes.
All the others – nothing special.
