Julianne Hough In Emilio Pucci – Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party

Julianne Hough In Emilio Pucci - Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party

Julianne Hough attended the Estee Lauder ‘Modern Muse’ Fragrance Launch Party held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City yesterday evening, which was also attended by Michelle Dockery.

The dancer/actress wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2013 white wool-and-Chantilly-lace long-sleeved dress featuring point d’esprit panels and a sweet bow accent, which appears to be appropriate for the event but doesn’t feel quite right for Julianne, who tends to work a less saccharine look on the red carpet usually.

Casadei gold leather sandals and Sorellina fine jewels accessorized her look, with a blown-out bob and kohl-rimmed eyes completing her look.

Is this look giving you a toothache, or did Julianne play it right for the occasion?

I love it. She looks great, and it’s a different look that works.

I agree. At first I wasn’t so sure with all the different layers, but she makes it work into a cohesive look. Also, there’s a lot of skin showing so I don’t see how this is really a “twee” or “sweet” look except for the material.

This is an ungly dress ! And totally not appropriate for her, maybe for a 13 years old girl.

This is too cutesy and the fit is off. I love her hair and makeup.

This looks like negligee. Not a fan. It’s also a bit unflattering, as I feel the top widens her. I think Julianne looks best in a sophisticated/sporty silhouette. Kudos here, though, for the hair–which looks just right but which can sometimes be a problem.

She looks lovely and very appropriate. It is sheer but it is covered enough at same time.

Her hair and makeup is flawless, however this dress is problematic for many reasons. Somehow matronly and cutesy at the same time, also that triangle cutout from under the bust to the hem is extremely unflattering and does widen her.

Of all the dresses in the world why pick this confused mess? This dress is way too busy not knowing what it wants to be. Waste of gorgeous hair and makeup.

I would have liked this a lot better if it were lined underneath, and you couldn’t see the miniskirt, which is unflattering b/c of the way it breaks up the continuity of the dress. I do applaud her hair style on this occasion, though.

    She is not working this

The only thing I love here is her hair and makeup

Grandma dress. Not my favorite from her.

I’m with the H&MU lovers. She looks gorgeous, but too bad the dress let her down :(
