Taylor Swift In Oscar de la Renta & Calvin Klein Collection – Toronto Film Festival

Taylor Swift In Oscar de la Renta & Calvin Klein Collection - Toronto Film Festival

The one person I wasn’t expecting to see at Toronto Film Festival was Taylor Swift.

The actress doesn’t appear in the movie she’s helping to promote, ‘One Chance’, but she does appear on the soundtrack as she wrote and performed the song ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’ for the movie’s ending credits.

She gave us two looks; the perfect combo of sweet and sassy.

Guess Portrait Studio: Donning black Christian Louboutin ‘Lagoula’ patent T-bar sandals and Cathy Waterman jewels, the country singer wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 blue silk-faille embroidered dress with a scoop neckline which was originally presented as a strapless dress which was worn by Rachel Bilson.

‘One Chance’ premiere: For the premiere the singer wore a sexy custom-made high-neck Calvin Klein Collection white dress with cut-outs which showed off her enviable figure. On this occasion she styled her hair into a ponytail, accessorizing with silver drop earrings and gold sandals.

The most surprising thing here is that she didn’t work her signature red lip for either look.

Which look do you prefer? Sweet or sexy?

I have to go with sexy. Not only does she rock the hell out of this dress, but she also looks so statuesque.

I’m not a fan of Taylor’s, but she does look good in both looks.
I’ll go with Oscar de la Renta as my choice.

Not a fan either, but must admit she looks great in both looks. However, my favorite is the white Calvin Klein.

I have to go with the second look too.

For me, definitely the white Calvin Klein, although I certainly don’t dislike the blue Oscar de la Renta. But the white dress is sassy and shows off her figure.

    Both are totally working.

I love both! They’re so different that it’s hard to choose between them.

  12. Rebecca Z September 10, 2013 at 19:18 #

Wow–she looks great in both of these looks. But that white dress is definitely DBOTW material–even this spectacular week.

    • KatieKate September 10, 2013 at 22:40 #

Totally. She never ever fails to impress.

  13. Emma September 10, 2013 at 20:01 #

    She’s an “actress”?

  14. Aline September 10, 2013 at 22:31 #

My first reaction was “white agaaain, Taylor?!?”, but, you know, she looks so damn good in it, I can’t really complain. And she looks adorable in the blue one. I love both.

Both looks were great but goodness me, is that girl getting skinnier and skinnier by the day?

    • Dhppy September 13, 2013 at 02:22 #

Yes, she does seem to be disappearing.

  16. Kathy September 11, 2013 at 03:38 #

Both looks are stunning. The ODLR is classy, vintage with a hint of decadence. The color is just gorgeous. The Calvin Klein is flattering and sexy but not desperate. I love how it’s minimalist, yet Taylor wears it with such conviction that you don’t feel like there’s anything missing.
