Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior – ‘Blood Ties’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior - 'Blood Ties' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

We haven’t seen Marion Cotillard since Cannes Film Festival, but she was back out on the red carpet yesterday evening for the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Blood Ties’ held at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

The French actress wore a navy lace Dior dress with a mullet hemline styled with a black bralet and hot pants visible under her sheer lace dress.

Black Dior pumps with a white toe-cap, and a green cuff with gold and silver studs accessorized the look.

I don’t hate the dress, but I’m not crazy about it either. I think I like the styling more than the dress. That green cuff intrigues me as it is most random, and I love the slicked-back ‘do and the bright-pink lip.

Which side of the fence are you on when it comes to this look?

the silhouette of the dress was exactly the same as that used by Clotilde Courau!boring

I am a total fan of both Marion and (most) Dior. But this is such a major letdown. For all the reasons listed by others, even though I’m not closed minded when it comes to ‘mullet’ dresses, or sheer, or anything else she is wearing, per se, but it’s just the amalgamation of this whole look that’s bothering me. We all know she can do so much better. Maybe next time, Marion.

Might be the worst dressed of the entire festival.

  • amy

average look at best. honestly everybody has been upping his game at this festival and Marion gives us this done and redone mullet dress. the makeup is good though

  • Christine

Not liking this dress. She can do better.

  • Yeliz

The only thing I like about this look is her flawless makeup.

  • JJ

Tired of the see-through trend and mullet dresses.

Just spent five minutes wanting to like it, but it just doesn’t happen. The visibility of the undergarments, the shapelessness of the dress, the colours that are going on around it in an attempt to save the look… the lower I get, the, if slightly, better it gets. The mullet actually doesn’t bother me that much by comparison, but the shoes are not working for me. Too much white pointiness and blah black for the midnight-blue dress.

  • Jolene

Love the dress but the styling was a bit poorly done.

  • Azur

i’m a fan of Dior and Marion, but i’ve to say that i hate this look šŸ™

  • Charlotte

Ugly dress, ugly shoes, as usual with Dior !

    • Lashae

+1. Don’t understand this trend of mullet dresses. Most/Majority of them are always unflattering and mostly ugly.

  • Valissa

I actually really like this. It could’ve looked tacky but she carries it off with charm and elegance.
    Thumbs up from me!

  • Iva

I believe that we’ve had enough of Marion & Dior.
    She’s loosing her ‘mojo’…
I’m dying to see her wearing something else on the red-carpet.

    • Alina

That’s what I was about to say. She should wear other designers.

I totally agree and this dress is horrible.
