Jessica Chastain In Atelier Versace – ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Him And Her’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Actress Jessica Chastain also had her producer’s hat on while attending ‘The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby: Him And Her’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival held at The Elgin yesterday evening in Toronto, Canada.

She looked divine wearing a dreamy turquoise Atelier Versace chiffon dress with an asymmetrical hem and draped detail from the nipped-in waist.

The reason this look is so dreamy is because the colour complements both her pale skin and her flame-red hair, plus with minimal makeup her aquamarine Irene Neuwirth earrings really brings out her green eyes.

Gold Versace sandals completed her look.

The color looks fab against her skin and with that red hair but that’s where everything that’s good about this outfit ends. The dress itself is soooo old . Like versace did this back in the early 2000’s. She needs a serious makeover, I would love to see her wearing more modern styles. She is always so incredibly safe on the RC.

Oh, that color on her! A dream! And I love the style of the dress on her, it is so flattering, and really brings out everything that is best about her body. I can’t relate to the cheap comments, I just don’t see it, but I’m intrigued b/c so many seem to agree. It’s Atelier Versace, we all know it’s actually quite expensive. Maybe it just doesn’t live up to couture status. I can see that, as it’s not the first time with Versace. They just don’t strike me as a couture house. But anyway, I got way off topic. JC for BDOTW!

I have to agree with everything you said FB, that colour is out of this world with her skin tone. She looks beautiful

She looks lovely–the color IS perfect for her. But I don’t love the dress, though it flatters her. It seems like it has been done a million times before, most of them in the ’50s.

    Love. Love. Love.

this is awful. the dress looks so cheap! i’ve seen exact versions of this design on those bridesmaid dress websites. ew. shudder.

Exactly! She looks great but it’s the kind of dress you except Paris Hilton to wear. The difference is that Jessica has way more class.

  7. Christine September 10, 2013 at 14:37 #

She looks amazing. Love this dress. Would have love to seen this on Angelina.

  8. Carrie September 10, 2013 at 14:16 #

    Perfect color for her.

  9. Evil Britta September 10, 2013 at 14:04 #

I absolutely love the colour, the right hand photo is just perfect, but for me something goes off the tracks below the waist. The length? The shoes? honestly I don’t know, but something doesn’t sit right for me.

Absolutely love the colour on her, it looks gorgeous together with her hair. But I don’t like the dress itself at all. It looks dated and a bit cheap.

I’m glad she didn’t choose a “dramatic gown” for the premiere, cuz it’s kinda an Indie, small but really relatable film, just like the dress she’s wearing. and I think a gown is too early for a noon event…
    I love this look.

  12. Valissa September 10, 2013 at 12:03 #

The colour is gorgeous on her but the dress is outdated and boring. Thumbs up for the hair and makeup though!

  13. Jolene September 10, 2013 at 11:39 #

I like it. But i dont love it. She does look really good in this hue of blue.

    • Gamine September 10, 2013 at 14:03 #

      + 1
But I love that the dress defines her waist. I find she often chooses dresses that make her look boxy.

  14. Laura September 10, 2013 at 11:04 #

Boring! C’mon Chastain, you can do it SO MUCH better.

    • Rashmi September 10, 2013 at 16:54 #

Exactly, its boring and same ol’ on her!!

  15. Iva September 10, 2013 at 10:20 #

    I’m not liking this.
    I want ‘old’ Jessica back!

  16. Aline September 10, 2013 at 10:17 #

I’m absolutely obsessed with this look. I don’t think she’s ever looked this good. Blue is definitely her color as it really complements her and makes her best features stand out. BDOTW!

I adore this colour on her. Sensational.
