Felicity Jones In Christian Dior – ‘The Invisible Woman’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior - 'The Invisible Woman' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Felicity Jones attended ‘The Invisible Woman’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival held at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening.

The actress looked breathtaking wearing a Christian Dior black strapless fit-and-flare dress with a bustle at the rear which she styled simply with diamond earrings, black pumps and a Rauwolf gemstone clutch.

Barely there makeup – save for cat-eyes to accentuate her green eyes – and a slicked-back bun completed her movie star look.

I know I go on about how I’m not a fan of black, but this is my favourite look from her so far during this festival.

She totally nailed it from head to toe.

This is how you wear an all black Dior look and be remembered! BTOTW contender.

Love Felicity, love Felicity in Dior. Thought the bustle would overwhelm her small frame but she carries it beautifully. Elegant :)

This is the most beautiful dress and is even more beautiful in person. The fabric is exquisite. The bustle in the back is shaped like a rose and is based on a dress Mr Dior originally designed in Rose. It is couture quality for ready to wear. The AW show had it in black leather which does not work as well. From recollection the price was about £7500. I LOVE this dress and was sad when it was sold because I couldn’t gaze at it and dream.

I’ve said this before, but I don’t know if you saw, but I so appreciate your inside Dior perspective. It has finally dawned on me from this, and other posts, that you surely must work at a Dior store. Is this correct? I must say, you lucky girl! But I so enjoy the benefit of your expertise and experience!

Thank you that is very kind. No I don’t work there but wear it a lot

Hands down the best Dior creation I have seen on the red carpet since Raf assumed design duties at the house. BDOTW perfection.

Agree! Perhaps he should go to the vault more and copy more often.

Love it- Felicity looks beautiful. I agree about it being one of Raf Simons’ best so far. The billowing bustle/bow at the back makes a beautiful contrast to the stark simplicity of the neckline.

So chic. So Dior. So perfect.

    • Yeliz September 10, 2013 at 13:44 #

You’ve said it all. This has to be one of the best Dior looks. J’adore.

      • Christine September 10, 2013 at 14:38 #

She is perfect for Dior. She looks good. Love her makeup.

      • Jolene September 10, 2013 at 17:25 #

This is the art of dressing at its highest level. It is trully spectacular.

pictures do not do this dress justice . it is based on a archive dress by Mr Dior. The bustle is actually a rose. AW’13 also featured this dress in leather but the detailing is not as fine the silk textured material worn here. I love this dress.
It is actually a bit more modern to pair it with a brighter stilleto shoe ( bright yellow works well) but it doesn’t need to be . I was sad when this dress was sold -it retails for around £7500.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love this head to toe.

Love, love, love the dress and whole look! Finally a chic do for her hair! She’s one of my fave British actresses – really talented. Would love to see her more on the red carpet and in movies.

  14. Emmeline September 10, 2013 at 14:40 #

I wouldn’t change a thing, this is perfection.

  15. Rebecca Z September 10, 2013 at 19:20 #

    Lovely. She looks perfect.

  16. KatieKate September 11, 2013 at 01:09 #

It has been too long since I have seen a Dior post and been truly awed and enamored. This. Is . Everything. I totally agree that this is her best festival look-by far. The dress is breathtaking on its own merits, but she brings it to an even greater pitch of perfect. BDOTW, PLEASE. It will be hard to top this for me, and its already shaping up to be a great week.
