Maria Sharapova In Stella McCartney – ‘Mademoiselle C’ New York Premiere

Maria Sharapova In Stella McCartney - 'Mademoiselle C' New York Premiere

Maria Sharapova joined Miranda Kerr on the red carpet at Florence Gould Hall for the ‘Mademoiselle C’ New York premiere on Friday evening.

The tennis star known for her love of colour, cute dresses and London-based designers only ticked one of those boxes on this occasion.

She wore a Stella McCartney Fall 2013 jacquard tailored gilet with matching trousers, which she styled with black accessories.

If the fit was more slender, especially in the pants, this would’ve been a winning look for me.

All-in-all I don’t really like this on Maria. It’s nice that she tried something different, but I don’t think it’s in tune with her usual style.

    I don’t like it.

I don’t like the fit either, but this is a boring look anyway.

I don’t think it’s bad, and I actually much prefer this kind of sleeker look on her over all the cute dresses that I often find a bit too sweet for her.

I think it makes her look kind of heavy…

Quite boring and she looks really uncomfortable.

This does nothing for her. The oversized look of the jacket on the runway is more visually interested than her version. All in all, this is a bad 80s version of a suit.

I like the runway version much better also–much cooler. But, I do think it might have been difficult for Maria to carry it off, whereas someone like La Tilda could rock it. I don’t mind this safer version though, I think she looks sharp and very chic rather than cutesy, which is what we’ve been getting a lot of from her.

I actually love this on maria. I think with slight changes ti the fit it could’ve been better but it’s a nice departure from her pretty looks

This is a heavy looking look

I actually like the runway version. If it wasn’t for how it emphasises her shoulders I’d give this a pass on Maria too.
