Eve Hewson’s Three Looks In One Day @ Toronto Film Festival

Eve Hewson, young starlet and daughter of Bono, also played a quick-change artist at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday in Canada. She trotted out a trendy trio of looks, switching from conservative to more cutting-edge along the way.

‘Enough Said’ Portraits: Posing at the Guess Portrait Studio, the actress put on the same Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 ensemble we recently saw on Fan Bingbing. That she didn’t wear a black wig or chunky-clunky platforms immediately improved this demure green, cashmere top and silk floral skirt. But I still wasn’t in love with the lacklustre styling.

‘Enough Said’ Premiere: Upping the sophisticated appeal, she matched a Stella McCartney embellished-collar top with a barely blush J. Mendel layered skirt at the premiere, hosted at The Elgin. A Louis Vuitton clutch fit right in, with crimson Casadei pumps providing a bold, unexpected way to finish the look. Red-haute or red-not?

Fox Searchlight TIFF party: At the event, held at Spice Route, Eve again opted for Stella McCartney, this time showing her style stripes in a black, dropped-waist Resort 2014 top and Pre-Fall 2013 skirt. A sleek, black Smythson envelope clutch accessorized the monochromatic look, although I was really applauding the magenta lippie, especially in the face of those plain black pumps.

she is really gorgeous and was great in ‘this must be the place’…i like the LV look best! i think her style is maybe a bit more conservative but its really chic and becoming, esp for an upcoming young actress who wants her body of work to speak more than her physical body. not crazy about the red heels but i at least appreciate that she’s stepping outside the box

hmm..I’m sorry, but she a very pretty young woman..why the matronly style clothing?

The only look I like is the 2nd one. Even though I like a pop of color, there is something too stark about her color choice for the 2nd outfit though.

The 2nd look is clearly the best of the 3 – it’s fresh, interesting, sophisticated and styled well. The 1st is rather blah and mumsy and the last striped ensemble is not particularly attractive.

…I’d like to add that I would’ve preferred simple complementary shoes for the 2nd look, the “out-of-nowhere” bright red pumps are a bit too loud, do like the rest of her styling.

Totally agree. I love the second look, and that she wore two designers to create an interesting, very classy look, but the shoes take away. I wish she would’ve worn the red shoes with the third look, and a red lip. That might have made me favor it instead, but the boring black pumps just make the whole thing so boring. The first look, as was said, is a bit mumsy on her instead of looking sexy, as intended. The boring nude pumps don’t he’ll that fact. Here is an example of three looks in a row being completely let down by the shoes! I think celebs need to have a separate shoe stylist, in addition to their regular stylist. Because obviously these stylists just aren’t cutting it in the footwear dept., treating it as an absolute afterthought, when clearly it can make or break an entire look.

The second look is my favourite.
