Eva Longoria In Versace – 26th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards

Eva Longoria In Versace - 26th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards

Eva Longoria attended the 26th annual Hispanic Heritage Awards, hosted at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D. C. on Thursday, where she was honoured for her community service.

The actress was up to her glam standard in a glittering, black Versace strapless gown, sliced through with sequin embellishment that trailed into an extravagant flurry of a train behind her.

While some might have added a necklace, there was already plenty of shine on the dress. Eva kept her décolletage bare, only accessorizing with a pair of diamond stud earrings and a small black clutch, completing her look with a simple chignon and a glossy coral-pink smile.

Elegance, personified, or too predictable and fashionably formulaic for Eva?

This gives me a case of déjà vu, not just because she wore something similar before, it’s because I saw this type of Versace gowns on the red carpet several times before. That said, she does look gorgeous. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

It’s basically her look at the 2009 Golden Globes but in black imo.

If she’s such a big supporter of Latins, why is she always wearing Italian brands to Latin events? I saw her at the Latino Presidential Gala in January and again she didn’t wear a Latin designer. Show support to the Latin’s you’re meant to be supporting!!

      Correction – I mean Hispanics, not Latin’s.

There’s nothing anti-Hispanic about wearing designers of other ethnicities. Wearing Hispanic designers isn’t the only way to show support for her heritage.

Because “Italians do it better” (I’m joking and of course I’m italian) :-D

Are you sure she’s never worn this before? The it must be deja vu..because I feel like I’ve seen her in this dress already..boring!

She looks nice and everything – but I have a feeling that I saw her in this look several times before.

She looks nice but… Same old, same old.

Maybe I have a bad memory, b/c this look is not giving me déjà vu at all. I understand she has a preference for this style of gown, but this looks really fantastic on her. She has such a tendency to look boxy, but this seriously flatters and enhances her every curve. I also think the simple, sleek styling is spot on. I can honestly say this is the best I can remember seeing her look in a long while.

Déjá vu maybe, but I like this so much better than any of her recent looks.
